How about cover galleries? I like the idea of that - grouped in fifties maybe?

For pictures, can I scan any comics I have and upload them, or is there a lot of licensing/copyright issues involved?

I like the idea of that - grouped in fifties maybe? Indeed. Just as STC Archive did.

A question. When we write stuff about events, should they be placed in a general chronological order or should they be written in the order they took place in the comic? For example, should the Chaos article begin with the events of STC #175 and then have the facts about his creation at the end, or should it begin with his creation and then present day activities?

I'd say seperate subtitles in the article. Ie: Creation, powers, achievements, etc. The hardest thing about all this is probably going to be fitting STCO into it. The comic might end up adding a lot more history to the universe/characters (Kintobors involvement with Shadow, etc) and that could either go in one big clump at the end of the article or at the end of each subtopic.

We could just have a "In Sonic the Comic Online" section at the end of any article that requires it - should keep things clear enough. If you use a main heading for that, then you can just include whatever you need to under headings following that.

Lol, can we advertise the STC club on DA on there somewhere? [/shamelessplug] This is a good idea, and I'll help out where I can. I'm alright with digging through the STCs that I've downloaded from TKA for character art and such if that'll help Coz I'm not all that knowledgeable about it otherwise XD

That sounds the best way forward IMO, seeing as STCO is kinda not really official! he he Keep all the proper paper stuff together and the stuff here together... also as theres new bad guys and stuff that werent in the paper one, putting them in together with the STC stuff could get confusing. I dunno, is anyone going to see it besides us, tho?! XD

Given me a reason to re-read the archives again, it's as good a reason as any.

Right. I made an article. And I want a picture to go with it.
So can someone answer my earlier question and tell me if it's legal to scan in images and use them or not?

It's legal in the sense that no-one's going to chase anyone down over it. Strictly speaking, it's not, but it's ok to get away with it 'cos it's one of those minor copyright infringements that make up running fansites and companies don't really give a [censored] 'cos they're getting free advertising out of it.

I wrote the red Omni-Viewer article. Probably not very good and riddled with unforgivable errors, but since it seems so popular, there it is.

STCO needs a totally separate entry, so some purists don't get mad...
You know like DC comics and Marvel had the Silver age and that, STCO could be the "Online age" or something...

Sounds like an interesting project. I might write the odd article if I find the time (once I figure out how Wiki articles are written, their format, etc.). I'd have written an article for Doctor Zachary, but it looks like someone else beat me to it.

I've been writing some articles (read: two), Issue 1 and Issue 2 (naturally). I don't know if it's up to everybody's standards but hey, I like it. I'm quite happy doing that for a while if nobody minds. Plenty of red links, though, so people could do more articles....if they want. >_>
Anyway, I don't know how to do fancy things like Info boxes (for the staff on the comic) or things like "Preceeded by" and "Succeeds" but never mind.
