Yahtzee gives his input on the ending debacle. He proceeds to miss the damn point behind the complaints completely and utterly, and I think that's partly due to a gross misinterpretation of the themes that the series had established up until that point, especially when you consider just how many different directions the various plots can go depending on your choices. He thinks curing the genophage will cause the Krogan Rebellions to start again? Maybe if a collosal prat like Wreav was in charge, but not as far as I'm concerned, what with Wrex and Eve running the show. Also, the fact that I got the Quarians and the Geth to co-operate just shows me what the point of the series has been to me; that history doesn't have to repeat itself, and that the cycle can be broken. The ending completely [censored]s on that idea; while I agree that Bioware had always painted themselves into a corner with trying to end a series with so many story variables, what they chose to do essentially rendered all that effort, every decsion you make, throughout all three games utterly meaningless, in favour of an ending that can flat-out contradict your own story developments. Also, protip; calling everyone who complains about the ending a cockhead is a sure-fire way of completely invalidating your argument.

I think all racists are cockheads
Edit: Also, everyone who complained about the ending is a cockhead, but for unrelated reasons
