Fun fact, fact fans. With the inclusion of Bark, every playable character in the Sonic series prior to Sonic Adventure has made an appearance in some form or another in STC/STC-O. If E-102 Gamma were to somehow appear, that would push it forward to Sonic Battle being the next one with unused characters (E-121 Phi in multiplayer mode, to be precise). Even Heavy and Bomb? Oooooh!

You can't really play as them, can you? You kinda just drag them along. The closest you get is telling them to HOLD, I think. Otherwise, er, no.

Another edit: Yay for the cover head. Although it does seem to look a bit odd with the comic's current layout... More edits: Adamis is slowly replacing Mobians with Pokémon. Is that an Umbreon driving a car in Big's strip? Bark was my idea and yes, I like to include cameos from obscure characters Maybe I'll hide Honey somewhere one day ? Also, no Umbreon, it's a white, generic rabbit (assuming you're talking about page 3 panel 1).

Ladies and gentlemen... we present to you... SEVEN ASSES I'm honestly humbled by the response in this thread. I'm really really glad people are enjoying it. In response to Skeletons in the Closet being a bit lean; yeah, sorry about that. I anticipated that this would be a complaint when I started drawing it, but I thought that clearly establishing the mystery this early on would be the best course of action. Hopefully it pays off, he said nervously. Also: you really have Adamis to thank for Big. He knocked up some concept art for a Big on a scooter story, I hadn't even thought about him before that. Shame that Sumo didn't put Big in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, or else we could have claimed this was a tie-in.

You're just now doing a vague Sanic Battle tie-in
just paint his scooter green, add Amigo and the Chuchus on the background or something (we'll pretend we didn't see it being purple) and say it's a tie-in of the first All-Stars Racing :V

Sonic and Knuckles' stories were both pretty good, but Big's was just brilliant. I would love it if future issues had more stories like it.

Question: The biplane's called the Tornado, now?
(I expect the answer to be 'yes', for what it's worth...)
Edit: Sorry, I keep finding things. How come there's no credit (Mike/Stiv) for this issue? Is it somewhere away from the Control Zone that I've missed?

The answer to that is 'whoops'. I suppose it is, now.

We've been working on putting the comic together more collaboratively over the past few months and with so many people being a part of making everything so awesome the credits box would've been huge!

No probs to the both of you. I'm just nitpicking on what was a brilliant issue. I'm odd like that.

Now this is a good comic issue.
the Sonic store had a fgood ending to it, kinda confused how the Wing Fortress survived the transport without falling apart.
The Knuckles story has me pretty interested in seeing how it play out, I enjoed the game it's based on pretty much, but to see it in done in an STC setting will be more than interesting.
As for the Big comic, I love crazy funny stories like this one and the way Big is driving reminded me of the way he flew the Tornado in the Sonic adventure game, also props up for the exploding cars and low earth orbit flight caused from it.

Pretty enjoyable Issue guys ^__^
Thought the Sonic strip was nicely rounded off, as you're aware I'm a big fan of any strip where Robotnik has an appearance. Also, the "Run for your Lifes!" "Lives, dear" genuinely made me laugh quite a lot. Knuckles strip was also well done. It had good pacing, some nice art, wasn't overly complex and introduced something new and Interesting.
Then Big. Lol. Was funny. Neat job.

Tails clearly has two planes- one red and white, the other purple and yellow. The red one's now the Tornado, I guess. The purple one's call the...?

Well that's that song in my head for six weeks. I hope you die.
Edit: Not really, but I hope someone you vaguely know but aren't close to dies so when you find out you go "[censored]ing hell, really?" and it gives you pause, albeit briefly.

Can we retroactively make it Sonic's? Tails has enough planes as is.

Yeah I think it's sonic plane in sonic x and the sonic genesis mini series, sonic also calls the tornado in sonic adventure but the tornado 2 I think is tails Would make sense if Stc tornado was sonics as not sure our sonic would let tails own the plane, tails is just the [censored] who has to fly our hero around!

It's how it was in the games too, at least in the JP Manuals- not sure about the EU ones. Basically the Tornado is Sonic's at first, but Tails takes such a liking to it that Sonic just basically doesn't care any more.

I just figured because of his name being on it, but come to think of it is it ever written on the stc version, can't find an issue that shows the plane at the right angle to see not that it really matters

It's written on the side on the first page of Super Sonic in issue #7 too. stcreruns.co.uk/007/comic.php?p=3
