From Big Smile over on the GHZ.
Typical Sega timing there... But my heart smiles today. <3
And to think I was tempted to get a Wario plush...

The Sonic one looks quite nice, not sure about the Tails one, though.
I too will also be looking forward to a Knuckles plushie.

I was tempted to buy a Tails plushie today, but decided not to since I was out with a friend and the queues were enormous. One day, though.

Gamestation also have that Mario voice keychain thing, where you press it and different mario voices come out. Only £1.99. I might just get one, if only to annoy people in work. I'll say Cheerio to a customer then as they turn their back press the button that goes "See you next-a time!" Wonder what kind of response I'll get from the customer.

F*** Mario Segaz! Is there a reason why retro can't just mean using the old approach to making the plushies o,o? Like the 90's version of Sonic plushies that I still have 1 of (well... half the limbs lost not but meh). I don't see why they can't use the old model as a "retro" style to follow. At least there's a little more room to give Sonic love over Mario now "hate Mario, hate Mario, hate Mario, etc, etc"

Technically (meaning I'll get proved wrong myself here). Sonic's been officially drawn with buckles on his shoes as early as the promotional art of Sonic CD, while I wouldn't be surprised if an early issue of Archie placed buckles on his shoes even before this. I still hate the damn buckles.

Awww!! ^___^ You Elmira! Yeh, Sonic had buckles on in the Sonic CD art. Ive got it at home, so Ill be taking it back to Brum with me! Maybe then I could find an example and scan it... but there was a picture from Sonic CD artwork in the old Sonic annual I had. I think it may have been put in the "Books for charity" box when my parents moved but the piccie showed Sonic with buckles. Anyways, Ill be having a look when I get back to Brum. I may have to purchase a Sonic. My Sonic plushie is smaller than my Tails!

Oh, and I love the buckles.

I prefer the buckles on his shoes, because it's silly making him look like he's wearing plimsolls.
