The problem is it's not looking back much, so progress is slow.

My Tikal avatard just disappeared too. D: They're dropping like sparrows! *weeps* Anyways, what do you mean by "not looking back much"?

As soon as anyone edits something in their profile, their avatar will disappear.

Anyways, what do you mean by "not looking back much"? As in, "we're looking into it." But it "isn't looking back much." As in it refuses to do anything.

How do you become an 'invisible user'? Or a 'guest' for that matter? When ever I try to access this forum, I always have to log in first. So becoming any of the others seems impossible.
Thinking about this more, makes it seem like a thread in it's own right. I could ask why you'd want to be an invisible user in the first place, someone could comment on no frills sex or something, we'd all laugh for a day or two, and then it'd get locked.

You can't. The appearance of "guests" only appears when someone deletes their profile, rendering all of their posts to appear falsely as "guest posts".

Oh. so....when they delete their profile, why do they still show up as active in the last 24 hours? 64 GUESTS? Come on. And you didn't explain what an invisible user is.

1. The guests are the usually the regular users accessing the site before they log in.
2. You can make your profile invisible by selecting the function in your edit profile menu.
Fine?

Also some ISPs create ghost accounts on message boards, so when someone logs in they have three or four "ghost" accounts. To become an invisible user, click "appear as invisible" when you log in.

Is there a way you can search though ALL of your posts? The search function only allows up to 1000, and I have about double that. :/ Even if I could just search within a time frame that'd do.

|
|
Post by Super Sonic on Jul 27, 2008 21:28:12 GMT
Go to Search, then type what you want to search for, then in the box underneath select "Search Posts Made By" and change the "posted within the last..." bit.

|
|
Post by Moo on Jul 27, 2008 21:43:41 GMT
Yeah but "within the last..." wont really work, as Im looking for posts I made after Id joined. If it was a "between x and y" it'd work.
