Finally got around to finishing Secret of Monkey Island and Broken Sword! Took me long enough. Well, you may have arrived to the party late, but you have awesome taste in games all the same.

Yeah, they're an amalgamation of the Marx Brothers and the Mario Brothers. The Marx Brothers were 5, the Mario Brothers were 2, and the Marxio Brothers were 3. Because reasons.

After having some problems figuring how to download it, I've finished Broken Sword 5: Part 2. I liked it. It was better than Broken Sword 3 and 4, but my biggest gripe with it was that there appears to be no way to die in the game. I'm not suggesting it should have been early Sierra hard, or be filled with infuriating (and decidedly non-point and click) QTE and stealth sections the way The Sleeping Dragon was, but Broken Sword has always been a series that, despite being one that has a sense of humor, also has its tense moments. There were many points in the game that I felt should have had a way to fail a puzzle that would result in death, because the plot put the player in a situation where they would naturally be in some peril. But it seemed like any time one of those situations cropped up, the plot steered the player away from the danger automatically.
Still, bear in mind that that is my one and only major complaint.

they have yet to report that they have the rights to Sonic on the big screen, I'm not sure why you'd file the domains if you didn't. My first thought is: to secure the domains while they're cheap, then hold on to them on the off chance Sega wants them later on, then sell them for a ridiculously high price. Yeah. I'm still not convinced this is happening. Like, at all. Sonic focused Wreck It Ralph marketing materials testing well *might* have twisted someone's arm, but otherwise it seems like the whole thing would be a huge financial risk. And that's on top of the fact that getting any film made is just... just like, the most inefficient process ever.

Was just made aware that this thread exists. Desperately want a PAL Mega Drive copy of The Adventures of Mighty Max. Can anyone help me out with that?

I don't know. I just thought it was funny and this forum was literally the only other place I could think of that people would know what I was talking about and maybe find it funny too.
I mean don't get me wrong, I believe you. I just wanted to spout out about how hilariously bad my memory seems to be.

Yeah. This is kind of a funny tidbit I was thinking about and thought I'd share with some people who would find it funny. I met Richard Elson at a convention about fifteen years ago, and I vividly remember him being black. Possibly mixed race, but definitely not white. Flash forward and I Google image him to see how accurate my memory is and it... really isn't. I mean, I know it was him. I got a signed sketch that hangs on my wall to this day. So unless he had an understudy and/or talented imitator, I can safely say I am the last person you want on the witness stand.

Lol. I am so glad I live in a world where the same guy who voiced Sonic also voiced Batman.

I don't know if I was just spoiled by the first movie, but... no... you're wrong. So very, very wrong.

TMNT crossover event? Are you talking about Turtles Forever? 'cause I loves that movie, I do, I do.
Also that one with the female turtle was called Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. It was terrible.

Don't get too excited. The domain simpsonsmovie.com was registered in 1997 and the actual movie didn't come out until ten years later, so personally, I'm not holding my breath.

Gonzonzardy I just found out there is a Broken Sword 5, and in an odd coincided was just released yesterday. I'm downloading it right now. This is the happiest I've been in quite a while.

Welp. I didn't Star Wars hard enough yesterday. I showed up an hour early and the line for the auditions still curled all over the habourside side and out into the street. So basically I've been sleeping through the day and will be Star Warsing even harder tonight.
My thoughts on this movie are: if I'm in it, I'll like it.

I've decided that ToS: DotNW is a total dick of a game, so I'm moving on back to the 360 and going to see if Dead Island: Riptide is any good. It's fun, but frustrating in many places.

Props for mentioning CoI HD! I'll be doing a playthrough commentary of that when I can get my recording equipment to work... I have mixed feelings about playthrough with commentary, mostly cause the ones I've seen were littered with horrible jokes, immature comments and traces of wanting to be famous just for complaining about it like the Videogame Nerd. Yeah, those are all things I try to not do.

Grimer was (erroneously) called Grimer Wormtongue in one of the Data Zones, though. I remember that. And being momentarily confused as I'd read Lord of the Rings... Yeah, me too. I'd always pronounced his name "Grim-er" but as it turns out, it's actually pronounced it "Grime-er" (I first learned this from Richard Elson at a convention, just in case there's people wondering if my info is legit). And I always wondered if there was some kind of weird connection between the characters. I think I remember Grimer being described as Wormtounge too... which confused me even more.

Finished GTA V, last mission is a let down in my opinion. And I'm playing Castle of Illusions the remake, Controls could use some work, but for a download game it's really good. Props for mentioning CoI HD! I'll be doing a playthrough commentary of that when I can get my recording equipment to work...

Sonic Generations 3DS. Thanks to the copy pasted level design in the classic era, I actually discovered the location of a special stage ring in Mushroom Hill Zone Act 1 that I didn't know about before. Did it do anything when you collected it?

Well, I would have downloaded it the day it came out, but I'd been having trouble with getting access to the marketplace for a while. I finally fixed the problem, and I've began playing a game I've been aching to play since the second it was announced:
The Castle of Illusion remake.
So far it's so good, if I didn't know any better, I'd say that it's god's way of apologizing to me about the fact I'm probably going to die alone. If you are, in fact, up there big guy: apology accepted.
