MK v DC Universe is considered MK8. They're working on MK9 at the moment. I'm hoping it'll be more like Deception/Armageddon than MKvDCU.

MK vs DCU is more like the retarded half-brother of Mortal Kombat. You don't want to acknowledge it exists, but it's always there, disturbing you with its very presence.

MK Vs DCU actually plays decently unlike the previous MKs since MK:DA. Next MK will probably be using the MK Vs DCU engine anyway. Needed more Wonder Woman twisting heads off like bottle tops though.
MK9 has been shown WB btw...

I like MK vs DC. Its silly simplicity is a strength in times when every other fighter is ridiculously deep and content-stuffed.

MK Vs. DCU is the most refreshing Mortal Kombat in years.

I like MK vs DC. Its silly simplicity is a strength in times when every other fighter is ridiculously deep and content-stuffed. I completely agree, that's one of the biggest reasons I love Mortal Kombat: because you don't need to invest your life in it to be any good, you can just pick up and play. I think I was being a bit non-specific in my previous post, I probably should have said I want the whole experience to be more like Deception/Armageddon with a Konquest mode and a Krypt and all that cool stuff. After a while, MKvDCU sort of stops entertaining you because there are only two things to unlock (character endings aside). The fighting engine is pretty great, though, even though I liked the second-generation fighting engine with the different styles. I think if they'd not put the Rage thing in MKvDCU, the fighting engine would probably have been one of the best an MK game has had in years (wonky moves aside; I remember the days the Square Wave Punch would actually connect), though that'll likely not be in the next one. Anyway, yes, to contribute more properly: - Sonic R 2. I know, I know, Sonic R's not popular. But the version on Gems Collection is pretty great, all things considered. If they could just make things a little more balanced (Sonic and the incredibly broken Super Sonic are really the only characters worth bothering about), have more characters and stages (I'm suggesting they put more characters in a Sonic game, maybe I'm ill) and add some new multi-player modes, it could be great, I genuinely believe that. - Decap Attack 2 with a script influenced by Nigel's take on the game, if not written by the man himself. We all know we'd love it, but we all also sadly know the original game itself is little more than a footnote in Sega's history. - Chuck Rock: A Load of Boulders. Because that is what it should be called. Fairly popular-ish character from the 90s. I liked him, I know other people did. I think they should really reinforce the whole idea that he's a loutish, lager-swilling yob, though, since that was pretty much ignored in the actual gameplay before. Maybe make it a bit like Conker's Bad Fur Day in terms of rudeness. I mean, come on, his wife's name is Ophelia Rock, even as a kid I knew that was a euphemism for a hand-job. Also, Chuck Rock would be a Geordie. Chuck Junior is now a teenage chav. Gary Gritter has been arrested for inappropriate conduct around a minor, etc etc, hilarity ensues. - Sin & Punishment 2. Oh, wait, they actually made this :')

But... but there was virtually no blood in it! And what happened to all those cool weapons!? Nor did the fighters each have different fighting styles! *sighs* Well the people have chosen, it seems...
Sonic R 2? Hmmm... All the Sonic racing games so far have been pretty sucky, but there are so many ways it could work. Sonic R certainly had the right idea with the characters each having a different method of locomotion. They could all have different attacks as well in order to keep the other racers down, could perform stunts and such as well.

G-POLICE! I remember that! My dad had that for the PC years ago, I really enjoyed that game! Never completed it, but it was so much fun. I remember getting up to one of the later missions which involved lots of these big robots, a couple of these huge ships and a bunch of SAM launchers that seemed to be on rapid fire. :S I never played the sequel, but I'll bet it was good.

Streets of Rage 4. All the SoR games rocked hard, and still do, and a modern one with top notch animated graphics (none of that 3D crap) would kick arse to the max!

Star Wars: Republic Commando. One of the most fun shooters I've ever played, full of charm, challenge and overall well put together. The first game ended on a cliffhanger. Five years ago. Pile of [censored]s.
Medievil. This series was never really a worldbreaker, but it was one of the memorable Playstation brands (remember when those things broke out like a rash?) that just...stopped. It'd be neat to see what they could come up with.
Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger. An interesting Playstation game that was praised, then immediatly fell into obscurity.
Loaded. A pair of games that most probably don't even recall. The series had a look akin to 2000AD mating with a death metal album cover and the gameplay was quite literally "Open fire on anything moving". Fun stuff. Would like to see a modern gameplay revamp with crude humour, sort of like a darker version of...
Timesplitters 4. Because shoot 'em ups need to stop taking themselves so [censored]ing seriously.
Megaman: ZX 3. The second Megaman series to be nixed before finishing its plot ("Dohoho! A plot in Megaman, you so crazy!"). One last game would be all we need, really.

No Eternal Darkness 2 yet? For shame.
Mantorok vs. the Yellow Entity. Possibly with three Alexs running around the alternate timelines. And more Pious Augustus.

I used to love the noise he made during Crane related moves. Medievil - "Er, excuse me, captain, I believe we have a stowaway on board." "GOOOOOOD! I WANT THAT SURVY DOG HANGING FROM YON YARDARM BY HIS BOWELLLLLLLS!"

Sega have proved they can't be trusted with Golden Axe anymore.
Revenge Of Shinobi, if I remember correctly, is essentially Shinobi 2... there's already a Shinobi 3.
Space Harrier remake would be terrible. Nothing more can be done with Space Harrier- simple premise there's no need to add to. If they tried to remake it it'd be full of such large changes to stay new that it wouldn't be recognisable as Space Harrier anymore.
Sonic Adventure 3? Really? Does it really matter what a 3D Sonic game is called? Apart from what... Chao Gardens, it's not as if the Adventure games had anything unique that defined them as Sonic Adventure games and not just regular 3D Sonic games. Sonic 06 was more similar to Sonic Adventure than Sonic Adventure 2 was. Sonic 06 was your Sonic Adventure 3 and it was the worst game of all time. A game can be terrible and giving it the title "Sonic Adventure 3" won't save it. If I recall correctly, Sonic Unleashed started development as Sonic Adventure 3. At least that game was better than their previous efforts.
Shenmue III, yes. Although I'm not sure if I can trust Sega that much anymore. The most similar thing they've done since is Yakuza, which I enjoy, but it's riddled with so many Segafied flaws (huge, frequent loading times, horrible grinding repetition etc.) that I don't believe any form of Shenmue III would stand up to the first two. Still, as long as the story gets finished I'd be happy.
Sonic 4? Another 2D Sonic game? Do the Advance/Rush games not count? Well, if you turned Golden Axe into what the original formula was then you'd be onto something, because it's blatantly not for the whole adventure hack and slash, and is more about multiplayer-beatem up That's fair enough, but a new Shinobi that wasn't like "Urban ninjas in futuristic city" would be appreciated Makes sense, least it's on the virtual console Well fine tune it to produce a game that lives up top the first 2 and we'll see, but I still feel that there needs to be a 3rd one made because I refuse to group 06 in with the adventure series because despite it playing like an adventure game, it was horrendous as you say. I was going on more about the story being finished, yeah. If they wanted to bring the folks who made Yakuza in to make it then I wouldn't complain, although I think that it's a bit of a different atmosphere to what Yakuza was, which is never a bad thing. Yes, Only Sonic advance 1 counts for me and Rush is good enough to be considered it's own thing, so if they give me a classic styled game with chirpy electronic music and bright colours still in tact and was long enough, then it'll probably shut me up for another 10 years.

You'd never get a game entitled "Sonic Adventure 3" at this point; the gap has been far too long since SA2, so it'd just perplex the consumers. S06 is essentially SA3.
Same applies to a "Sonic 4". Though Sega could easily make something like it (and just give it a different title) if they copy what Capcom have done for the Classic Megaman series on the VC.

Yeah, I really wish Capcom would for once finish a Megaman series properly before starting a fresh one. I mean, we still don't know what happened to the original Megaman (though among the fans it's widely believed he was destroyed by Zero while he was under Wily's control), and when did X and Zero get sealed away?
Actually, wasn't the ZX story resolved? I don't remember there being any unanswered questions left at the end of Advent.

Classic Megaman doesn't need an "ending" per se, since leaving the interim between the Classic and X era vague is part of the charm; we don't know precisely what happened, but we don't need to. A little ambiguity never hurt anyone. The implications of 'Evil Energy' following Duo's arrival, however, need to be cleared up.
Battle Network/Star Force likewise doesn't really require an ending and the series flourished anyways.
X ends just fine if you ignore anything after X6. Sure, this means you lose out on the "Team X" angle with Axl, and later the Command Mission bunch, but that's not so bad.
Zero ended on an odd note, with some unanswered questions, but it was unmistakably an ending.
Legends got the shaft, which makes it the counterpart to ZX.

(though among the fans it's widely believed he was destroyed by Zero while he was under Wily's control) That theory was shot down by Word of God over a year ago. Not that it made sense to begin with.
