Strange that Tom's role is so downplayed. Tom founded the comic -- got the gang together, conceived of how the look should be, argued with irritating vigour for the comic's 'verisimilitude', for its and for things like starting from #224 (or #185 originally) as opposed to #1. And he was editor 2 and a bit years and had a lot of input into the story and the scripts, especially mine. I don't think he's ever really got the credit he deserves for making STC Online what it is. I've actually been thinking stuff like this lately. Until recently, I had no idea Tom was ever in an editorial position and it's only since we've been chatting over the last few months that I've realised how big a part he played in getting this thing off the ground. No wonder he came up with Cedric =P.

Zoe Matt and Jamie Botham, I remember them well. Where are they now, eh, Tom? They went back to their home planet with Megadroid II. I believe I downloaded them, shrank them, uploaded the shrunken versions to the shared filespace, then my computer got wiped, and Abby couldn't find the original files when we went to press. Which irritated the hell out of me, but it's ancient history now... Course it wasn't. Dunno why I came up with that title though. Very un-STCish. I was gone by the time it was lettered, you could have changed it back... It was a reference to, um, The Lost World. Not Sonic Adventure. (Was that level really called Lost World? Huh.) I don't recall arguing for that, I think I'd recall that given I don't think I've ever seen the word before in my life. I'd have called it 'authenticity'... Aw, shucks. (Or curses, given how often it seems to get unduly slammed nowadays.)

Verisimilitude is my word but I think the sensibility is yours. Authenticity works too.
I think Mike liked "The Lost World" so I didn't change it back in the end, although I did think about it, right up until release.

I'm not a daunting prospect? I'm not sure wether to be offended or pleased about that... Anywho, useless piece of trivia - the bank that 'shortfuse' robs in "Unusual Suspect" is the same bank that the League of Super-Evil Villains blew up in "The End of The World" - you'll notice its still got boarded up windows cos they hadn't got round to fixing it!

Trivia? The mech Tails fights in 250 is based on the walker mech Tails beats in Sonic Adventure, with the tail of the Egg Viper (Also from SA1) and a Cybernik head. Its serial number is E.G.G.DC1999.

Still, page being made about you on the internet without consent (celebrities are an excpetion), is pretty [censored] weird.

With that thinking, none of the STC or especially STC-O staff should get a page made about them on the Internet. They're hardly celebrities, are they? Anyway, sorry about the page, only added it yesterday. I put it up on the thinking that you were a pretty important part of the Message Zone at some point and you were the only person to respond to the Speedlines thing. Avoided putting your name though, for obvious reasons. If you want it taken down, I'll try and get it done. Sorry again.

Nah, I didn't mean it in a bad way. It makes sense for the artists and such, because they've made a direct contribution to the comic. All it looked like to me was taking a member and writing about them. And for morality sakes, it should still be in the persons best interests to ask if you can write about them.(Just to make sure) But I am in no way against it at all. I think it's wonderful them getting credit though, on a wiki.

Oh no its quite ok, I just dont consider myself important enough to warrant one, was just a bit surprising.

Can anyone access the wiki? Bookmarks and links going to it direct me to the main Wikia page. Someone brought it up on the community but it was brushed aside. Bear in mind by the time someone reads this it'll probably be fixed..
EDIT: See? Never mind...

If it's trivia you want, I never played Sonic Shuffle before I wrote The Universe Game.

Trivias? Let's see. - I made two covers for #232. One coloured with markers, the second is a mix (background by markers, characters on computer). The first one was kept but the background has been edited. - When I came aboard the staff, I was asked to create a few "Freedom Fighters" for the Nameless zone story "Journey to the crossroads". Three were created, two have been kept (Pippa and Trent). The other one was just an old design of one of my characters.

I've easily undone the damage he's done. Who are the admins for the wikia page, you should block him from the wiki as soon as you can.
Edit: Looking the guy up, he does this to lots of wiki pages. Ban him from your wiki, or teach yourselves how to undo his changes. Easy enough, go to the damaged page in question, click Edit, History, and click "undo" next to his change.

Tee hee - I do enjoy trawling about the wiki from time to time - so many little nuggets of info I'd forgotten all about! In the interests of acurracy, your article about "Solstice" says: In actual fact the old woman and Shorty in that scene in Sunrise are bartering - the original script called for "14 relips or 2 Chickens" but I thought the concept of animals as livestock in the world of STC might be a little weird, hence the much more ambiguous (and funny sounding) cluc-cluc was born! (but yes, one cluc cluc would appear to be worth 7 Relips!)

(but yes, one cluc cluc would appear to be worth 7 Relips!) Just remembered this - I hope Mike didn't mind you changing his script. And that the "half a cluc cluc" was already dead before it became currency! Anyway, wiki's four articles short of 1,300, which is a ridiculous amount for a comic (although some are admittedly quite short) and there's plenty to go. Remember, everyone's welcome to edit : D Nigel K's list of stories is one of the newest up there. Also, who actually are the admin(s)? :/
