Finish the story? We haven't even started yet! The thinking was that "The Syndicate" would be a bit like "Girl Trouble" a couple of issues before "The Sonic Terminator" started. The main event will start sometime this summer. ah that last pannel glimps of the metaliex in that story was indeed well done

How long will the Shadow sgaa be? I hope it will be a long story in it's own way Maybe Shadow could have his own stories like and Tail and everyone else in the comic

I could tell you, Shadude, but I'd have to kill you. It will take place in the Sonic strips. The back-ups will deal with other plots.

If they did choose to do a Supershadow character, here's an interesting twist;
Sonic is good, supersonic is evil. Conversely, perhaps since Shadow is evil, Supershadow could be good?
It'd make for an interesting parallel, but super-powerful characters are rarely a good plot device -- they were pushing it with the all-singing-all-dancing Supersonic back in the original STC, especially when he split up from Sonic.

Thats kinda like the earthworm jim story where they had a good little dog and when he was angry turned into this massive evil guy, so when an opposite of him was made when the opposite got angry the big guy was good. if you understood that lol

Must've been in the cartoon. That was great...Jim was voiced by Dan "Homer Simpson" Castelleneta! (Is that spelt right?)

Hmm mabye itll be like me and always come back for more... *Hit* oh! *Runs back, hit* oh *Runs back*
Ok ok let me speak now, *Coke can hits him from the audience*
I think that they should avoid Super Shadow, as cool as he is, another super guy would be a little too much, and if he was good, well things would be too easy.
Though mabye just once, a conflict between the two supers would make for some awesome artwork if the guys are really up to it!

Yep, I see a big full page thing. Kinda like the SS one from the fight inside Sidewinders castle.

I've been trying to get a double-page spread in for a while. When Tom was editor, he was dead against it, since it would make it very difficult to view the whole page on one screen. I figured you could have a smaller version and an expanded detailed version. I originally intended to have the Knuckles in #230 be double-page with the train track in the background and some panels superimposed on top of it. I think the pacing felt off though. Mike did do one page sideways though, so there was a bit of the same effect at least.

I still don't think it worked out very well.
I was never opposed to sideways pages though... in fact at one point I suggested we do the whole thing in landscape format! Maybe not 100% true to the comic, but I thought it was more suited to the online format.

Nah I prefer the original (and retro) feel of portrait, but the occasional large landscape would be SO cool!
*Thrown roughly out the cinema now for shouting again*

We could have a double page spread in that -cough! cough-! story Ed, the 2 parter That could be cool if you can fit it into the script ok....

That would make an interesting thread or poll - favourite double/single page spread.
Nothing will ever beat the 'Sonic falling to his death' spread, though!
