Wow, I was just thinking about Wakfu this morning.
Don't draw any innuendo from that please.
Also, yes, The Boondocks is ace. Still yet to see any of season 3.

The first season ended last saturday. I don't know if there will be a second one. Yeah, there will be. Is it true that Tristepin dies? I'm only up to the ninth episode. -edit-Just watched your video. If anyone wants me, I'll be under the table, crying [censored] tears.

I like the 3D Clone Wars series. It was slow to start but I think it's steadily improved. That said, I think the Genndy Tartakovsky one was better.

Yes, Tristepin dies =( There are also a few unanswered question (what about the Eliatropes/Yugo's race? ) I think we can expect a new season, Wakfu here is going really well: we have a TCG (based on various Dofus and Wakfu incarnation, like the games), some comics/mangas ("Wakfu Heroes", some artbook of the series, etc), the game is stil in its beta version but there is "Wakfu: the guardians" (a game based on the Eliatropes), Islands of Wakfu (soon on XBLA), Sladge (recently announced)...and they said they have other projects.

Can't stand Adventure Time or Phineas and Ferb, they just do nothing for me. The former has pretty nice art design though.
My favourite recent cartoons (not sure what the time boundaries are) are the following, in alphabetical order:
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Bakemonogatari Batman: The Brave and the Bold Bob's Burgers Boku wo Tomodachi ha Sukunai Hidamari Sketch/Hidamari Sketch x365/xHoshimittsu/xSP K-On!/K-On!! Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Maria+Holic/Maria+Holic Alive! Metalocalypse Mitsudomoe Nichijou Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt Shinryaku! Ika Musume/Shinryaku!? Ika Musume Softenni Ugly Americans Xavier: Renegade Angel Yondemasu Yo, Azazel-san Yuru Yuri
As well as Family Guy, Cleveland Show and American Dad. And new arrival Allen Gregory.

I've been watching The Boondocks quite a bit lately. Not familiar with the comic strip so I can't compare them, but the animation is terrific and it's consistently very funny.
The new Avengers series is pretty good too. Hopefully it'll be to the Marvel comics what Justice League Unlimited was to DC.

Can't stand Adventure Time or Phineas and Ferb Now, I am sure I made a post mentioning these two and only these two right above where Stu's post is now. The fact that he responded specifically to them further cements that, but it appears to have gone, now. Am... am I going insane?

I just discovered Phineas and Ferb a couple of months ago and I absolutely adore it. That's basically all I can say in an on-topic manner. Oh, I saw like twenty seconds of the new Thundercats this evening. So...yeah.

Biggest surprise/punt that paid off for me has to be Black Butler. Watched right through DVD volume 1, loved every minute of it. Am now looking to get the second volume this Christmas.
Storm Hawks goes without saying, I believe I already mentioned it a year or so back when this thread started. Got the first series on DVD, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of the second really hoping it'll turn up at some point.
If Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt ever gets here on DVD, it'll be a sure buy for me. Watched a couple episodes a while back, great, zany fun, and loved the whole Cartoon Network-esque art style.
Like McFarlane's trio of Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. It's been a canny set of series, though I hope they don't end up living on for ages and having a period of stagnation, like a certain other long-running cartoon sitcom.
Not seen new Thundercats yet. I'd like to, though.
The Ricky Gervais show was a surprise for me. I avoided it at first, thinking it would be something along the lines of Ricky chuntering and ranting on for half-on-hour. Then I discovered a certain Mr Pilkington, and I've been enjoying it somewhat since.
Seen a few eps of Bob's Burgers. They were decent, I sat through them at any rate.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Though I have to say there's been a fair bit of 80's revival going on lately, what with the recent Thundercats return, as well as things like Ninja Turtles, Biker Mice, Transformers etc. I eagerly await developments this decade where we'll see a return for shows like The Hurricanes, Reboot and Transylvanian Pet Shop. (Probably not, but one can wonder.)

S'been going on since the turn of this millennium...and even then Transformers never really went away.

The only one I've really seen was the 2003 TMNT reboot, which I actually enjoyed. I have wanted to see the new Thundercats cartoon though.

The Hurricanes, Beeth? Really? Just for sake of example. 'sides, can't blame for remembering it, since it does have the most awesome theme tune in existence after all. WE'RE THE HURRICANES! OUR CHAMPION SPIRIT IS HERE TO STAY! WE'RE THE HURRICANES! STORM TIME IS COMIN' TO YOU TODAY!

ACTUAL best theme song ever here....oh dear, can't say I found that enjoyable at all. It feels like a 12 year olds "AMV." Of course, everyone knows the best intro ever is Ducktales or Darkwing Duck. When it comes to intros. Ducks man. They got it nailed.

Of course, everyone knows the best intro ever is Ducktales This is the correct answer. This is the correct response. And yeah, I saw Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes a while back. The entire city got destroyed at the end of the second episode, which was phenomenally over the top and, frankly, put me off watching. The theme song didn't help - there's cheesy and then there's THAT.
