I'm surprised no-one's mentioned this yet (I dunno, maybe I'm the only person here who reads the webcomic in question), but it seems Porker's been moonlighting as a paranormal researcher; for the past few weeks he (or at least someone with the same name who looks suspiciously like him) has appeared as a key character in Exterminatus Now. Of course he seems to be on the way to his third nervous breakdown, but given that his life is in the hands of these clowns that's perfectly understandable. The universe in Exterminatus Now is largely Archie-derived, with a bit of Warhammer 40k and the Cthulhu mythos thrown in, but it's nice to see them give a shout-out to the STC crowd.

That's not the best pitch in the world. Admittedly not, but if I remember correctly it basically started out as a send-up of Archie; I seem to recall that originally it was planned to be played straight, but thankfully they decided to go with a parody instead.

It's hard to pitch EN really. Even saying to start from the beginning is tough, considering that doesn't account for how ridiculously much Virus has improved the content in the last half year or so. That said, even the older issues still have the humour intact to this day. But the second you say it's basically Sonic/40K/Cthulhu in one...boy that makes people run. The most I can say for it is...try it out.

I enjoyed reading it a few years ago, but I gave up trying to keep up with it after interminable delays and stuff.
Also, Lothar was like Madhair's anger levels x a squillion. Was kinda too much bile to absorb in one go.

Eh, he's calmed down since. Also, updates have been on time and regular for the last...4-5 months I think now that Virus has his girlfriend prodding him to finish the comic every day.

Seems like girlfriends are a good influence on the guys; Lothar's calmed a lot (both online and offline) since his fiance walked into his life. And yes, I would definitely agree the strip's gotten a lot better (even though its early days were still impressive); the art's sharper, the writing's snappier, there's just been improvement all-round.

Read a few issues. It's Sonic meets Warhammer 40K, without anything remotely Sonic sans the odd casual nod, and the art style.
Oh and the forums are made up of several STC-O regulars, so most of you already know all this.

Aside from that, whom else is there? EN's mostly it's own bunch.

Exterminatus Now is a (particularly British) comedy webcomic.
The art is indeed great, most especially as of recent. Virus' talent for expressions never ceases to amaze me.

Hahaha, EN. I brought it up recently in the "discovery" thread, after clocking that a ton of regulars here also post on their (awful) forums. Lothar is mental - not "lol well random" mental, but "dangerous to those around him" mental. As for the comic, the art is OK, but it's wasted on the project. Bizarrely for a British effort, the style of the humour is like a more crass Friends, or any generic American sitcom. Basically a situation occurs, then the characters comment on it wryly. For seven years. It's astonishing in a way. I have no idea how it's developed the fanbase it has. Good luck to 'em. It's the kind of thing that could only exist on the internet, and it's still better than C-A-D. Yecch. Edit: It's hard to pitch EN really. Even saying to start from the beginning is tough, considering that doesn't account for how ridiculously much Virus has improved the content in the last half year or so. That said, even the older issues still have the humour intact to this day. I went back to look at the oldest issues to see if the soft porn I remember them being was some sort of demented fever dream I'd had, but no, it's still there. Hilariously bad. At least they're not doing that anymore... at least until the inevitable fanservice from that new cat character. Edit 2: Get this guy to draw for STCO.

Lothar is mental - not "lol well random" mental, but "dangerous to those around him" mental. Given that I've went to Alton Towers with the guy and have been a friend for some years now. I can safely say you're wrong there. Eh, that was more aimed to be used for comedic effect rather than using it as a means of porn in the comic (which it wasn't anyway, it's just implied offscreen....stuff.) Interesting you say "that new cat character" when consider her name is actually "Yuri." Silversword assures me this name represents nothing.

Birds of a feather... >_> Also, I would agree with you about the bawdy comedy sex until this exterminatusnow.comicgenesis.com/comics/20031225.jpg <- Sorta NSFW which is for masturbation, and masturbation only. But that WAS a long time ago, and I assume they've done nothing of the sort, since. Though if they have feel free to link me. As, erm, evidence. But, at any rate, I'm too harsh on it. It's alright. Just not for me. Edit, just to add, on a somewhat petty note:
(I dunno, maybe I'm the only person here who reads the webcomic in question)
You know you aren't; why say this?

Presumably it's the Christmas poster?

I can safely say you're wrong there. This is one of those problems that crops up when a webcomic character is named after a webcomic creator. The character is most definitely mental and dangerous to those around him.

Then you clearly havent talked to him, seen any posts by him or blog posts by him that are newer than about 2 years old. Not to mention he used to exaggerate his blog posts for comedy effect. He gave that up very quickly. As Studio said, since he met his fiance any hostility has dampened.

I'm sure. Really, I am, I'm not questioning the man; truly, I haven't read any of his stuff in two years or more, because of the hostility I encountered previously. It put me off. I'm glad to hear his attitude has improved along with his comic.
Edit: Spelling... is it "truely" or "truly"? I went with the latter, but I'm still not sure.

The latter.
Also, dude's a total mental case. Regardless of how much he enjoys Alton Towers.
I'm pretty sure the Columbine guys would have enjoyed Alton Towers if you took them there.
[censored], Alton Towers is awesome.
