If there's a way I'd like to see it done (and I'm sure I've mentioned this somewhere already), it's the way Marvel handled Wolverine: Origin. Blergh! No thanks! "James Howlett" will never be Wolverine... what kind of name is Howlett anyway?

A 19th Century one? That's who he is man. Deal with it I thought that story was great. You didn't think Wolverine would be born the way he is did you? And the way X-Files handled their "Bit by bit" process drove me nuts. One reason I stopped watching the show cos it just went on and on and on and on and on and oooooooooon! And every time you thought the "truth" was found, way hey! Another 20,000,000 questions for ya to be answered 3 seasons later. I wouldn't take the X-Files approach. Waaay too long winded.

He certainly wouldn't have been rich kid.
I just don't want to know.
*sticks fingers in ears* LA LA LA
Can't really compare it to X-Files though... that was all about finding out about something that's going on in the present... whereas what happened to Knuckles is well in the ancient past, and doesn't necessarily have to affect his future.
The mystery is an intrinsic part of his character, and taking ALL of that away would be asassination...

I hope Knuckles does learn about his past. It would be cool to finally learn about himself and to learn why the floating island is up there in the sky, or at the mo is on the sea

Well, Vichama was freed from his prison on the floating Island. Maybe he was a traitor to the echidna's. Doctor Zarchary, I'm not sure. As for Knuckles, maybe he was beaten on the edge of death, but the Chaos Emeralds preserved his life and and made immortal and then he went into suspended animation and regained concousness in the time he is in now. With no idea of who he is and what happened. Also, someting must of happened to the Chaos Emeralds to give the island the power to float in the air.

I think this whole Echidna business is getting confusing because~ Firstly it was Knuckles, the last survivor of an ancient race of warriors called echidna. Next there was Tikal who came from the past to help Sonic against Chaos. Then there was Dr Zachary who appeared from nowhere and is helping Dr Robotnik. Finally we have Vichama who has also appeared from nowhere and who is helping Dr Zachary. So knuckles was the last surviving but along came 3 more? They should tie the story up make it less confusing for dumbarses like me. They should probably do it before (or during ) the next big story.

Actually, can anyone tell me what happened in #227? As I could never dowload that issue. What happened in the Sonic and the Amy storys? In #226 the floating island rose from the surface and in the Amy story Johnny came back from the dead. But thats all I though really.
