nor the extremly impressive "Spirit Bomb"!
*Leaps out his window in sheer DBZ thinking, then suddenly remembers it is an anime and he cant really fly*
But back on topic, I first saw SS in STC in his debut in Oil Ocean, even if that is proved not the first, I still read from the start, so I would have seen the first anyway! And yeah having a good SS is sometimes fun (Ala SS VS Perfect Chaos) and a suitable climax, but I do like him as an unbeatable demon, much more fun!

First Supes I read was "Hill Top Terror". I re-read my whole collection recently, and I forgot that in the beginning Super was still kind of good in his own small way - vis-a-vis "Hill Top", in which he saves the villagers from destruction, but only because Tails said he couldn't do it. Or in Poster Mag 5 ("Ocean of Horror" or something like that) where he's trying to find the giant bomb.

Yep its kinda like hes doin verything bad unless there is a direct danger to him, he is obsessed about somehting when he turns or when he is doubted, until running wild when he goes flippin mental anyway.
Hes kinda like Omega in a way...not violent until provoked. Prods Omega "Worthless consumer models!" *Retro hits the moon at 360 MPH*

Anyway...before this topic goes anyfurther up Route Spam...
Did anyone ever consider the idea that the grey emerald could take the evil energy of SS from him, but leave him with his power, i.e. a good SS.
But only for one time, always would be a little odd.

Yes, I did think about that for one time. Although Nigel/Lew (Can't remember which one) already made him a good character. Although he didn't have his power.

Yeah I remember that, cool story line, and had possibly one of the best bits in STC history with Biohazard throwing bile in that strip.

cant really help it, just a curse, or as the others put it, tradition.
For example, if In dont hurt myself this post someother guy would do it for me, it aint me! I just prefer doin it rather than bein at their mercy!
Anyway back to topic, Is it just me or did SS's artwork take a huge leap during those issues, very facial expressions good.
*Hits himself in the face to avoid others hitting him*

Yes, I did think about that for one time. Although Nigel/Lew (Can't remember which one) already made him a good character. Although he didn't have his power. It was Nigel's plot but, oddly, it was Lew's script that introduced the idea (in "The Final Victory Part 3").

For Super's amnesiac/pacifist stories check out "The Final Victory, Part 3" (#100), "Whatever Happened to Super Sonic?" (#102), "Hunter and the Hunted" (#116-118), "Return of the Nightmare" (#146-148) and "Perfect Chaos" (#183). Some of these were probably reprinted, but I don't know which issues.

#217 and #219-222. "Nightmare" did not see a second printing (nor did "Chaos Reigns", obviously).
