Birdo wants Big the Cat to wear an apron.
That's all for this light and useless bump.

So I rented this. It's actually quite fun, since I only played the DS version of the original. Plenty of unlockables and different modes to play. Shame I don't have any friends...
More to come. Maybe.
EDIT: Changed my mind. It's rubbish.

The story for the 3DS version is surprisingly good. Way better than in Generations, that's for such.
The rest of the game...uh, it doesn't match that.

The story itself...on paper, it's very basic and more like Mario Party DS than anything else. Eggman and Bowser don't get invites, so they decide to use an urn to shroud London in fog (REDUNDANT) to stop the Games. Sonic, Mario and co have to save the day.
In practice, it's pretty in depth, the main game alone can get pretty intense, and the bonus challenges go so far as to explain things like how Eggman came into the possession of the urn (albeit that bit contradicts the main story), and how Bowser and Eggman's invites got lost in the first place.

and how Bowser and Eggman's invites got lost in the first place. Is it perhaps that one of them is a megalomaniac who is bent on world domination and the other is a giant turtle who has a penchant for kidnapping royalty for some untold, nefarious purpose? I mean, really, what do they expect?!

I mean, really, what do they expect?! It was because the girls messed up, actually. They did have some, but then Amy wanted to go shopping with Daisy. ...It makes sense in context.
