My excitement for this is boundless. I used to love Tintin as a kid, so I was pretty chuffed, and then I learned that Steven Moffat was writing and I wigged out.

I picked up a boxset of the 90s cartoon as part of my build-up to this film coming out. My expectations are through the roof with this one.

Written by Stephen Moffat and Edgar Wright And Joe Cornish! Can't. [censored]ing. Wait. (Also, the Americans don't get it 'til December? Mocking laughter)

Went to see it, it was pretty good... my only criticism was that some of the animation seemed a bit off. Haddock's head seemed a little big for the body and the fat woman singing didn't quite sync with the sound... Overall, nicely done... and it was frightfully English, whatwhat!

Saw it last night. Not great, but enjoyable. Bit of a sudden ending, too.
And what was up with that cat? I was expecting it to turn out to be an evil cat working for the evil man. But no, apparently it just loved [censored]ing around with Tintin for no reason.

Caught it today.
Was anyone else expecting Tintin to whip out a sonic screwdriver?
