I made the mistake of looking up that Vampire Buns thing. I thought it would be an innocent little tale about a vampire working in a bakery, perhaps mixing up the strawberry jam in the middle of a jelly doughnut for blood and biting into it, only to be vaguely disappointed. It'd be a bit like Nyanpire (which you should all definitely watch). But instead I was greeted with cover art that would make me genuinely uncomfortable to have anyone else in the room with me when viewing its Wikipedia page. When a program called Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt manages to be less awkward than that, you know something's up. What does all this have to do with When They Cry? I haven't the foggiest. Sorry.

Haha, yeah mate, I saw your comment. I really do love the moe genre for the comedic tone it usually brings with it, but I fall squarely on the non-fetishy side of things. Fanservice in anime is interesting, since it's almost always there, regardless of the genre of the show itself. It's one of the things non-fans absolutely cannot get their heads around. It's a really fascinating subject. I wanna get printed in Neo, lol. Where should I be posting? No idea. I just wrote that on Facebook, I wasn't really expecting it to be within a letters segment! It's cool, though, always nice to have yourself immortalised in one of your fave magazines. ^^

so you all stopped at higurashi!? that's too bad because wile the story is really innovative, I think it needed to be twicked in many aspects. I really do prefer Umineko because wile it holds on to the same concept it is really a mature work if it's put at confrontation with Higurahi. The setting in the first play is actually more convenient for a story of the sort and it's more fashinating. Really feels like looking at neo version of Agatha Christie's masterpice! ......then again that's the novel and mabe even the manga. the anime sucks! No, no, really - it's cool to talk about When They Cry, it's just that Higurashi is strongly, ethically objectionable to me, basically. As long as we're not posting videos etc I'm sure there's no problem. Maybe someone could dig up that thread for context? you're so sweet and diplomathic! ......anything against a cute NIPPA pic?!?

Edit: Know what? Doesn't matter.
Also, I moved this from the Arcade to the Eldorado Zone. Seems more appropriate here if it's general discussion.
