Was thinking of using birthday money to come through for this after all, but I missed the ticket registration first time, and since I'll be on a trip this weekend I'll miss the second wave! Guess that means I'm out for this year.

I haven't heard anything about a third wave. The building SOS'12 is being hosted in has an 870-person capacity, and the first wave gave out 400 tickets alone.

Read the last update on the SOS website.
The one before the Nigels.

...WHAT THE HECK IS THAT GONNA DO TO EASE THE PROBLEM?!

Wave 2 will have 200 tickets. Wave 3 will probably be dregs. Though, yeah, they might release enough tickets to have another wave of 200

I doubt it still a lot of guys want to go mainly adults wanting to book tickets for their kids, unlike me being a overages 25 year old sonic nerd who gets angry when they claim The real name of robotnik is egg man

sidewinder, you'll find that most of Summer of Sonic -is- adults. The number of children there each year is insanely low in comparison to the number of late-teens and up. (And there's no point getting angry over 'eggman' 'robotnik' arguments either, since his name was -always- Eggman in Japan and Robotnik over here, but was retconned to Doctor Robotnik with Eggman as his working/mad scientist/nickname)

There's no point in getting worked up about it simply because nobody's going to listen (heck, I don't care myself and find myself using Eggman more often than Robotnik simply because he's spent more games as the former), but Robotnik sounds a hundred times better and there was no reason to change it. Edit: That sounds slightly aggressive, sorry.

I call him whatever fits the situation myself, there's no reason we can't use both

Not gonna lie, when I got to the final boss of Generations and Classic Tails shouted "Doctor Robotnik!" I did a little fist pump of joy. Eggman my arse.

Lol I was at work when I typed that comment it sounded funnier in my head and wanted it to come off as a joke., compared to when I typed it. But yeah it's a pet peeve of mine only irritates me when the whipper snappers go " it's was Allways egg man even in Japan the west got it wrong" blegh a nerve slightly ticks inside if me. But yeah essentially I know it's not just kids that go but a lot of adults were arguing that they wanted to get tickets to take their kids as it was a fun event to take them to but couldn't get a ticket
