Crossing my fingers for Cosmo or Chris, if only to see someone actually do a decent Chris for once. I'm kind of tired of seeing how many ways the guy can be mutilated, run over, shot, beat up or just bashed. Nope. Well darn.

Haha, I wish he'd become a regular character (and his official name is "the Hobidon" )

Haha, I wish he'd become a regular character I'm sorry, that was the first line I read before my first was already on the screen. XD
You've won the hell out of my respect sir. I thought I was the only human being on Earth who's even notice who'd even know who he was. XD
Especially since he only appears in like.. 8 seconds of one episode. I remember him because in Japanese I think he shares a voice with Shinji Ikari/Sailor Uranus. Effectively, I'd call him Saturn. Because much like the system made by Sega, it was a great idea that never got the attention it really needed.
But well played Adamis. Well played. =)

Thanks for the reply. I'm not trying to be THAT GUY for asking. But considering Sega themselves didn't jump in immediate seeing Ken's idea to make money off the daughter of their trademarked/copyrighted character and smack that [censored] down... I don't feel all that reassured about how long this comic is going to go on. As, say Ken does by some Godless fluke, win this. So, what's keeping everyone else who worked on the Archie comic from doing the same and then suddenly, EVERYONE'S copyrighting something. Because in Archie issue 134, Tekno and Shortfuse DO make cameos! So hey.. if they happened to have crossed that Cosmic Interstate, and see the Penderpocalypse coming and decide on getting some migrants... just want to know if the option was there. And it was probably the worst dialogue Tekno ever spouted, and that's saying something. Didn't want Archie to incorporate STC elements when STC ended, wouldn't want the reverse either. They're very different animals. Don't think losing the Penders characters will hurt Archie enough to kill it though - it's not like most of the audience is picking it up for them. And it seems to be going strong given there's been two or three titles going for quite a while now. If only Egmont had put as much faith in their product…

Still, given the character she has which I know now and rereading the actual sentence, I can't agree more with you. Doesn't help much that it was done in the middle of the Archie comics dork age.

Penders & Archie have settled, and Ian Flynn says:So I'm taking that as "many Penders characters are going away".

That's a safe bet, I'd feel sad about this if most of those characters weren't just redundant and never really used by anyone including Pender's himself. And I see it's going to be business as usual in Archie's comics after all, I never really expected them to get rid of the Satam cast since they're part of the comic's core.

Yeah, the only characters Ken created who were uber-prominent and will leave a mark:
* Elias * Geoffrey St John * Julie-Su * Lien-Da * Harvey Who
And two of them are already gone. Elias will be the only long-term problem because he was the king.

Elias will be the only long-term problem because he was the king. True, but I'm guessing the second or third genesis wave will fix so King max never went bonkers or had a son in the first place. Actually, 3 of them will be a bigger problem since Geoff, Elias and Who were a major part of the King Nagus sub plot.

Well, that's the answer then.
The Genesis Wave fixes Naugus up and those other three characters had 'accidents'.

Go readu up on Captain Marvel, Shazam, and Miracleman, for an idea of how it can be. On the other hand, the sheer fact he can do that protects Scourge. It may just mean Fiona's gone.

He's claiming that and Robo-Robotnik, a robot Robotnik. That can't be right. Sega would have his nuts. EDIT: And then there's: "the story does indeed pick up where MOBIUS: 25 YEARS LATER left off at the end as seen in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #144 ... I won't be dealing with the Sega characters". Wait, so it starts at the end of a story full of Sega characters, with the lead whose DAD is a Sega character, but they aren't in it and Lara's dad is now "THE PRAETORIAN".

By the same principle that Neil Gaiman owns Medieval Spawn, I suppose. There may not be much to the concepts, but he conceived them and therefore owns them. (And from what I've seen, I'd expect that the Evil Sonic character has been transformed enough since then - different appearance and name even - that Archie could continue to use it.)

MY HEAD. He actually thinks he owns Evil Sonic. [censored] me. Seriously. [censored] me. The actual [censored].
Mind you, on a different site they were talking about how Infinite Crisis was actually a way to get Superboy Prime killed off so they could bring him back as exactly the same character but without a lawsuit attached. Or something.
This is why America is [censored]ed.
Right guys. Time to make a Rule 63 Mobius and time to make some money from this Sonic the Hedgehog [censored]. Sonic+Breasts=Profit you know it.

Is it one of those cases where, while they technically own certain characters, they are only entitled to a share of the profits where that character appears in the either new issues or reprints. Alternately maybe Penders will sell them to Marvel and we'll see Julie-Su show up Guardians of the Galaxy. Mind you, on a different site they were talking about how Infinite Crisis was actually a way to get Superboy Prime killed off so they could bring him back as exactly the same character but without a lawsuit attached. Or something. There was a big lawsuit going on at the time over who owned certain elements of Superman, Superboy being one of those elements. Of course this would suggest that anything for the last ten years at DC has been planned and didn't happen purely by accident.

By the same principle that Neil Gaiman owns Medieval Spawn, I suppose. Medieval Spawn is a seperate character to Spawn though, with a different background and character and introduced concepts the comic didn't have before & were lucrative (lots of "[Timezone] Spawn toys came out after Gaiman had the idea). I could see the case for co-ownership there. Evil Sonic is... an evil Sonic. He's massively derivative. Robo-Robotnik isn't even that, he's "it's Robotnik from another reality"!

Massively derivative, but just as with Marie-Su and all the rest of those Knuckles knock-offs there's no arbitrary way of determining how original a concept is - it's either a unique creation or it isn't.
Still, he won't be able to use either of those in their original forms - at least not without Sega's explicit consent.
