yeah, I mean for all of the talk about the redesign it really isnt a massive change in design. We are talking blue arms and bandage tape. And messy unkempt hair.
With the exception of Knuckles, but even then you could say "That is Knuckles's head on Storm's body."
That Rouge firstly even Sonic Team would be like nope, secondly wings on the arms? not gonna happen.
Anyway. Sonic Bewm.

Personally I really like the redesigns. Expecially Amy's and Tails'. Sonic looks mostly the same and I'm starting to get used to Knuckles anyway. I'm most intrigued buy what they will do with the personalities and the story  since they said they will focus a lot on that I hope they don't flat them down in an other way. |

I wish there were some way to pay Sega to NOT make Sonic Boom. Like an anti-Kickstarter or something. Can they at least just hurry up and get it over with so we can move on?

It's increasingly clear the Boom toon is a soulless advertising vehicle, like something out of the 1980s. Evidence includes the dire dialogue. Thus, the game is the true focus of things. I'm pretty excited. Indifferent towards Sticks for now, but am starting to like her.

well.....I think it's pretty cool! (except Amy's voice) sure the cartoon will probably, almost surely, pure nonsense....but at least it will be extreamly good to watch nonsense  But I am holding my breath and crossing my fingers for the game though. This just might be good... |

Yeah really not feeling this game, I wish it would just hurry it's ass and get released, get panned, and then we can get on to be shown the inevitable fantastic 25th Anniversary game. I'm completely baffled by the haphazard and extreme oscillations this franchise goes under with respect to direction and gameplay-style. Lost World was far removed enough, but this? Urgh, replace the Sonic character models with Jak and Daxter and this game would make a lot more sense.
My message to Sega is this - If stuff works, keep it. If it doesn't work, scrap it. They don't understand this concept though, when they start up the demolition derby in the development process, everything gets ripped out and replaced with something which is 99% of the time completely random. There'll never be consistency in the series if this continues.

While Sonic 06 certainly shouldn't be a role model for future games, I'd sure as hell rather they take that approach instead of this constant meandering between extrema. I'd love to see a well balanced game with seperate storylines, action stages and adventure fields. Just, yunno, done right. I think what gets me the most is how much this game looks so NOT like a sonic game.
That being said, I am LOVING the look of the TV show, the humor seems a bit banal sounding but some of it sounds fantastic.

I really cant remember seeing his eyes in the game. At all.
Besides I dont think anyone really thinks that this will be worse than Sonic 2006.
This game will probably be a half decent platformer with a meh story. BRB just wanted to make it too complicated I feel.
Oh wow... just watched the footage of that 3DS game. Its [censored]ing Lost World 3DS. Which has the most confusing level design. Everyone seems to be Sonic with a minor power. And then you turn into Sonic again.
Wii U version looks a bit more solid if "not a Sonic game". Knuckles just called Sonic big blue. [censored] this game.
