Expanding The STCO Online Presence

Hi!

I was looking at the control zone (I haven't started reading the more recent issues yet as I'm still making my way through the scans of the previous issues. ^^; ) And I really liked the idea of the "Breaking News" feed. It's punchy, amusing, and keeps the comic current in readers' minds.
It got me thinking, is there room for any kind of projects that could be updated more regularly in between issues? I'm reminded of the Maximum Ride books: The author kept up an online in-character blog as one of the characters. Additionally, Kiwi's Tumblr Ask Blog is a good example of the things that could be done. Or maybe audio plays, or somesuch.

I think it would make the fandom more active and attract more people. I'm not the best artist but I'd be happy to help.

That was what the STC Summary was doing last year - if we can think of a similar thing to do, you know we'll do it! In-character stuff, we've got Megadroid's Facebook.

Any other suggestions, we will happily pinch and claim as our --- er, take on board.

We're always up for making the STC experience more than just the comic! Any suggestions, please do send them our way and if we can manage it, we might just make it happen!

One of the things I thought of was maybe small audio plays. Could be made up of excess scripts you have, or ones that didn't quite fit the comic. Or they could be radio news broadcasts! I could help with the foley part, stitching it all together and adding SFX and such!

Perhaps a YouTube channel, with fake commercials and stuff.
