Longer issues means more strips, not longer stories. We'll keep with 7 and 4/5-pagers like the original.

That suits me fine, in fairness that's all I want one more story just like STC used to be like

I'm with everyone else here in that I think that more strips would be better. It's to late for me to go into a long explaination why so bye ;D

Earlier on I voted for Longer Strips, but I've only just realised that the comics should stay the way they are, and the creators should concentrate more on the quality rather than the quantity. The comic is good at the moment, but with time it will become the greatest Sonic comic out there.

Maybe whe you bring Shadow in the comic you give him his own stips I'm sure some other people agree with me. Now that would be cool. Shadow starring in a few side stories.....

Yeah it would.
Please make it happen.

There'll be plenty of Shadow in the near future. The back-ups will focus on other characters.

I'd have to go with more content. I would love to see the storys cross over more (like the whole saga leading up to issue 100) But also I would love to see some non sonic universe stuff introduced. like back in the old-old days of stc. Some Womder Boy stories or shinobi or Kid Chameligion.

The trouble with that is finding people who want to take on these lesser-known strips, both writing and art. Like I've said before, if you can recommend anyone that's a big fan of Wonder Boy or Ecco or Shinobi or whoever, please do.

Fansites exist for some of these characters... some of them have art/fiction pages... you could always try scouting them...

In the past, I've looked at various sites but it's time consuming and I've never really got anywhere. Maybe we should 'hire' a 'scout'.

Ed, I could do the writing for a couple of these stories if you like. I have some of the games somewhere, and one of the Sonic yearbooks has a Shinobi comic in it...

Thanks. Although we'd still need to find artists for any such stories.

I could work as a scout Ed! I read a lot of other comics, online and offline, and I can get some ideas.
*Looks at word hire* Money... @_@ *Shot so he will never get the job*

I forgot to mention above, but I'm not a big fan of these characters, still, they were fun for a couple of games and I'd be happy to write them...

EDIT: Here's an idea: What about NiGHTS? I'm quite a big NiGHTS fan.

In some ways, I think it's better to have non-fans writing. I think fans can sometimes be too close to things to be able to step back and see what makes a good story. But hey, we'd just have to see who had the strongest ideas for a series.
--
Ray: I think just about every Sonic Team game has been discussed as a possibility, but our various NiGHTS efforts have never got us anywhere, although I can think of a few people who might be interested in writing if we could only find an artist.
Of course, the ST game that people never mention is Chu Chu Rocket and yet that one seems the most ideal for the comic in many ways... shades of Pirate STC and Decap perhaps.

Well, let's find an artist before we start thinking about plots/writers.

I actually came up with some ideas for a Chu-Chu strip way back when this project first started up, but I've fogotten them all now.
(To be honest it's probably just as well... they would have ended up being Tom and Jerry in space, and anyone who's seen any of those 1960s cartoons knows exactly how discomforting that concept is...)

Like I've said before, if you can recommend anyone that's a big fan of Wonder Boy or Ecco or Shinobi or whoever, please do. I could write some some for you but I couldn't do the art. I'd want to try to get the story right so would have to go out and get the games for what ever im writing but that shouldnt be too hard.
