Hmm... it's not the special squares on the boards on Sonic Shuffle, is it? There's one for Amy's hammer, Knuckles climbing, Tails' flight, and... something that I don't think even exists.

Seeing as Charmy once used a shard of glass in Archie comics and Vector uses a paperclip as a lock-pick, I'd say any items BELONGING to a character in a comic (Like Amy's crossbow or Tekno's boring machine) are legal.
