I think she sacrificed herself right after Sonic was sent home, merging with Chaos in order to seal him/it in that wierd box, and transfered over to Super/Sonic when he came into contact with Chaos. Riiiight... Ignore that, Tikal appears after they defeated Chaos in issue #182 In which case... I aint got the foggeist clue as to how Tikal ended up trapped with Chaos. Also #182 seems to indicate that Knuckles is somehow responsible for helping in trapping Chaos...

Pochamac said something like "quick, Knuckles, this may be our only chance!" And then...?

Pochamac said something like "quick, Knuckles, this may be our only chance!" And then...? Damn close quote, and then... indeed. What happened, the story cut to *misc time later*. Knuckles: We did it, Pochacamac! We drove the Drakon Invaders out of the city!
Pochacamac: Only for the time being, Knuckles.
Tikal: I hope Sonic's okay... Sending him back to his own time like that was pretty risky!
Pochacamac: It was his only chance, Tikal. Another moment and Chaos would have destroyed him!
Knuckles: *armwave* It's hard to believe I also exist that far into the future! I wonder how that happened?
Pochacamac: Everything will become clear in time, Knuckles! But for now, we are at war... a war that will decide the fate of the entire echidna race!* * quote may or may not be 100% fully accurate

Oh, I see, they didn't seal Chaos away until after the forced the Drakon Invason force back. Edit: Ok, I've thought of another "loose end", but I'm not completly sure if it qualifies or not. What is the "Ancient Mystery" that the leaders of the Drakon Houses are discussing in "Best of Enemies", issue #116

Call me old school, but I'd like to see Metamorphia come back with a strong part that blows us off our seats. (I'm putting her in this little fancomic of mine and it just kinda shocked me heavily on how strongly moving of a character she had become through my fingers. And now its got me even more in nostalgia- I wanna see her again in the real comic someday somehow. Just a wish, but I want her back! lol)I don't know, I think Lew wrapped her character up really nicely. Any more would feel a little contrived to me.

Metamorphia lost her powers and became an ordinary Mobian... so surely if she did come back she would be a civilian?

Can anyone think of any significant loose ends that could or should be tied up? I'm curious if there are any. The Seven Badniks. THE SEVEN BADNIKS. Someone needs to finish their story, please.

Yeah, what Shad says is almost certainly canon. The only other thing to reveal is whether or not their corpses were recycled.
(PS they were)

I would like to see Sonic.exe in the story because it is the most personal and emotionally impactful villain. The demon tortures Sonic's loved ones with his own body and forces all characters to win their own challenges to save the themselves from a fate worse then death.
Maria the hedgehog as a testament to the messed up nature of the Robotnik family to Dr. Eggman. Gerald Robotnik was willing to do ANYTHING to save his Granddaughter and died believing that he failed. This would show character growth for Dr. Eggman as he actively chooses to help or control the world. Every time he looks at his cousin he sees his Grandfather's grief and his life long enemy (Sonic the hedgehog).

There is technically a character already like that that exsists in the Sonic the Comic universe, which is super sonic himself. Often referred to as "Fleetway super sonic" these days, this version showed that whenever sonic became too stressed or was exposed to too much chaos emerald energy, sonic would transform in to an evil, demonic super sonic with a murderous intent who enjoyed the thought of killing, often going on rampages. This would often lead to quite interesting emotional and psychological conflicts within sonic, knowing he cannot control this and battles with the thought of hurting his friends. In one particular issue (issue #80, or #81...cant quite remember) sonic goes to visit Porker Lewis at the Master emerald chamber on the floating island and accidentally falls down the pit that houses the emeralds. Sonic transforms into super sonic and goes on a rampage to find and kill Amy Rose and other freedom fighters. Sonic ends up on the run, concealing his identity, untill a bar fight breaks out and sonic once again turns super. However, amy, tails and others, manage to capture super sonic, pulling him out of sonic (in a manner of speaking) and casting super sonic into the special zone, where he has now become a seperate entity to sonic. Eventually after some more story arc's, super sonic eventually forgets who he his and roams around untill he meets a cat-witch named Ebony (along with pyjamas - who can sense the evil still within him) and ends up turning good. There is a lot more to it, im just glossing over the story somewhat. You should look it up if your not too familiar with it, its really enjoyable!

There's also the one-off 'evil' Sonic clone way back in issue 13's story ' Double Trouble' - calling himself an ' Extra Life'.

He was the clone made by Kintobor, right? I always wondered if Extra Life was a precursor to Fleetways later Super Sonic design, especially because of Extra life having sharper eyes and fang like teeth. It probably isnt, but it makes an interesting comparison. Also welcome to the forum!

As for characters I think it'd be cool to see have more abilities and stories it'd have to be: Hyper Sonic (Such a cool form but we haven't really seen much from them yet they definitely need more appearances) Solaris (As it'd be really cool if that's Infinite's plan and this ends up turning into an 06 Forces hybrid) Shadow (Both versions the real and clone versions fighting would be cool I loved the clone statue and his relationship with Kinotober) Silver (He seems pretty cool in your version and has had some cool moments bodying both Sonic and Super) but spending more time with his character would probably be for the best he feels a little samey to the current version. Blaze (Really hoping to see more of Blaze since they have the whole time loop shenanigans going on and we haven't gotten to see her interact with the characters much) Cream (They have a great personality so it'd be fun to see them more as a side character or on more chill adventures) Turbo (A cool rival that would be cool to see more fleshed out in the future or become a part of the main cast) GOD ROBOTNIK (He definitely needs a return man was great for what time he had and he really got to show off how much of a menace he could be if he had more power than Sonic gotta love bleak futures) The Fourth Dimension time police (from the fourth dimension novel: Sonic and the Fourth Dimension) it'd be really cool to get involved in some wacky time shenanigans again Time Waster (it'd be cool to see someone from Amy's story return as an actual threat for the cast to fend off) Not sure if Mettalix should return I feel like he got a good enough sendoff so if you were to do that maybe Metal Overlord or something from the mainline with a twist
