"Also, playing as Sonic in the Casinopolis level, you can reach the top part of the main hall (which can only be accessed normally by Knuckles) by Spin-dashing and jumping off one of the arches. This is difficult to do, however, and there's nothing up there anyway. It's also a bit glitchy in that there are invisible walls and floors you can fall through." I did it a lot, but maybe because I played the Japanese dreamcast one, that has more bugs than the International version.
Tails in Emerald Coast? I will try it!

Tails in Emerald Coast? I will try it! It's quite hard to actually achieve, and after you climb the lighthouse, and enter the next area, you end up falling through the floor, and there's no way past; it's an unbeatable level.

In Sonic Adventure DX, it's piss easy. Also using a long and complicated glitch (that I can't remember right now), it's possible to get Knuckles into Tails' Windy Valley in Sonic Adventure DX. Surprisingly, you make it selectable in Trial Mode as opposed to accessing it in the Adventure Mode. You get an emblem when you beat too.

Small little secret: In Sky sanctuary zone as Sonic &, or Tails, at the beginning of the stage while you watch the death egg rise into the sky. If you go as far left as possible an air current keeps you from falling off what looks like the edge.

That happens on the right side, also.

I believe it's also possible to get Amy into Emerald Coast using the hammer jump somehow? I'm sure I managed it once...

There's a way to spin out of the chao garden on Sonic Adventure 2 and you'll be in the sky.
I can't remember how or in what version of the game it was.
You can also drown Tails in the Hero Garden.

I remember that glitch! You had to go to the far left of the rocks, where there was a purple flower. Then you had to keep using your homing attack on the join between the rock pillar and the invisible wall.

Yeh, I remember that.... surely its just there to stop you dying a stupidly unnecessary death?... and make you look at the Death Egg and go "ooooh!" ;D

"I remember, this one time on Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega, I was just rolling around the joystick at the start screen, and some weird coin noise happened, and I was like...woah somethings changed...I done it again, and this tiem pressed all the buttons, A B, C, D and start, and I was in this stage choice page, and you could like skip to the end guardian and stuff. Aw it was well wicked man!"
Some gimp trying to tell me about the Level select on Sonic 1 at work. Oh how I love idiots explaining games to me.

I remember when I was little messing around, on sonic CD I think, and the debug cheat "happened".
I seem to remember also, something to do with being able to move sonic on sonic 1 when its on a demo or something.

- The secret area in Hidden Palace Zone. As Sonic and Tails, you use Tails to fly Sonic up and to the right. There's a 1-up. To your left, over the gap, there's a stash of one of every kind of power up. Just weird [censored]. I remember that, but the first time I did it I was only playing as Tails. It's ridiculously hard though, you have to button mash like a madman to get up there. Also, in Sonic CD, there's that statue of Eggman in Wacky Workbench that explodes if you go near it. I dunno exactly where, but it's inside of a left wall and that the first time I found it I was in the future(bad future to be exact). Also also in Sonic CD, if you get good future in the first zone, the first boss's red parts are pink.

Anyway, a weird bit I discovered in Sonic 2 recently: Turn on debug mode, go to Oil Ocean 1 and move yourself directly up. There is a piece of pipe hovering in the air there for no apparent reason.

I seem to remember also, something to do with being able to move sonic on sonic 1 when its on a demo or something. It's the pal version of the game only. If you hold down A, B, and C during one of the demos (either the ones that play inbetween the title screen, or during the closing credits), Sonic enters a sort of "stupid mode" making him forget what he's supposed to do in the demo. In the one at the start of the Green Hill Zone, for instance, he'll run straight into the first Moto-bug, and die.

I don't know how, but I've only just found out that there's a debug mode for S3+K. Video here

Everybody knows this, I bet. But in Sonic 1, in Green Hill (pretty sure its Act 2), theres a section where you can smash through a few walls in a straight line. Cuts down the time so much its not even funny.

Was blasting through Sonic 2 SMS just a few minutes ago and I was reminded of the weirdest thing I ever discovered in a Sonic game.
On Sky High Zone, Act 1, in the top-left corner of the level, there are three trees and an extra life. Instead of smashing the extra life, jump over it and run into it.
Sonic will continue running on the spot for as right is held down, but then also, for some reason, yellow birds start jumping out of the trees. Stop running or smash the extra life and they stop.
I've never understood the point in this at all.

I can list them if you want. It's genuinely ridiculous how many there are. If your lives aren't off the scale by the end of Sky High act 1, you're not doing well.
