ONLY Sci-Fi sitcome series ever?
IMO all series post series 4 are pretty weak. Liked the ending, though.
My favourite episode is "Future Echoes" or "Queeg"

I thought that up until series 7 and 8 they were consistently very good. For some reason series 7 just seemed to send it on a landslide though, it also had one very severe character plot-hole that I notice very time I watch it. In Tikka to Ride when Kryten's asking for permission to go offline for a while to clear up some unused old cache files, Cat replies asking why he needs more memory, saying "usually you got more RAM than a ......." (can't remember how the sentence ended), but Cat is supposed to be the most intellegence devoid creature in the history of existence, how the hell would he know what cache means??

I've only seen Series 8, but I thought it was dead hilarious. ;D I'd pretty much like the end of the final episode, Death came along and he just received a swift kick in the groin! Or did he? I've got to get the series on VHS or DVD. (EDITED BY MADHAIR)

Yes Rimmer gave him a good knee in the manhood as a last scream at how humanity had screwed him his whole life. (I dont think this needed a spoiler if you havent read yours Zero)
My fav ep? One word. POLYMORPH.
Voted the funniest episode of anything ever by the recent world comedy awards!
"You'll bonk anything won't ya Listy?"
*actually explodes in laughter*

he he great show, thought I din't really like series 7. ever episode seemed to bewinding down to the end of the show, lister finding out he was his own dad, and such with own origin.
Rimmer going off to become a hologram hero, ect which I thought was to overly sentimental for reddawrf as well, though all the other series were damn good.

Tis indeed a funny show, though it did start to drag a little in the later seasons.
My personal favourite ep is "Queeg" for the ending. >_<

My favourite episode would have to be 'Polymorph' or 'Me2'.
Rimmer 1:"There's only one immature person around here and we all know who that is." Rimmer 2:"Hello! What do you think of Arnold Rimmer?" *blows several loud raspberries while giving two fingered salute*

I love Red Dwarf, I liked all the seasons, though I can't remember much off of 6 and 7 (as I've got 1 - 5 on DVD and 8 seems to be shown all the time on UKGOLD) but sp,e of my favourite eppy's has to be the first couple of series 8, with the luck virus and sexual magnitism. XD. I also loved the first one with Ace Rimmer! I could actually go on and on here.
Personally my fave character has to be The Cat, I loved the episode 'Camile' where it's a creature designed to show you your perfect partner and The Cat looks at it and sees himself XD.
Ahhh Red Dwarf, another legend in the art of British Comedy.
