Shonen JumpDragonball includes Dragonball Z. Older Volumes include: Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam, Astro Boy, Love Hina, AI Love You, Chobits, Butsu Zone, Dr Slump, Pokemon, Hamtaro, Galaxy Express 999, Ghost in the Shell, Metropolis, Akira and a lot more. Others include: Bleach, Sand Land, Yu Yu Hakusho, Whistle!, The Prince of Tennis, Ultimate Muscle, Beet the Vandel Buster, Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya) and any of the new release previews (Eg, Eyeshield 21). Mine would be Shaman King.

Shaman King, seeing it for the first time blew my mind away. That art is AMAZING I wonder how many people are actually doin this by the manga and how many are just thinking of the anime? *paranoia leads to him attempting to put a security camera on the poll...falling off into the Shark Pool*

Outlaw Star, Akira and Ghost in the Shell just seen ghost in the shell 2. its quality. lots of philosophy in it. better characters and also plenty of guns and action. the graphics are really amazing and combines the cgi and animation superbly. its only letdown is the linkage between script and plot as it does the matrix 2 and 3 thang of talking too much philosophy. still a must for all anime fans. ps dominion is my favourite manga

the thing is outlaw star aint manga its anime by the sunrise corporation. manga is a company and brand that produces anime. still the poll has a lot of interest and a wide variety of opinion that shows anime appeals to a range of cultures and ages.

Manga is the Japanese word for "drawn cartoon" roughly, it just so happens there is also the COMPANY Manga who makes ANIMES (lord only knows where they had that idea) But to put simply, the books are manga, and the shows are anime. Ok? *knows way too much about Japan for his own good....leading to a multiple head BOOM*

Yes, Manga are film publishers. But manga is what Japanese comics are! Because it means "Comic" in Japanese. Manga are a film company that specifically choose manga to transfer into anime. They also publish mangas, you know.
