The Question sounds pretty boring. The Huntress sounds cool. Captain Marvel. I don't like the fact that comics make stupid random pointless characters that are just to make them look good. Captain America for instance. Did he have any real stories? or uses? They have to make the headquarters bigger.

The Question sounds pretty boring. Hes a conspiracy nut that all the other members are scared of, it adds to the team dynamic, plus he's voiced by Odo from DS9, and Odo is the man... Captain Marvel. I don't like the fact that comics make stupid random pointless characters that are just to make them look good. Uh? he's been around since the 30's, I dont get your meaning. He does have a point in DC, he's an oldschool naive optimistic good guy, to contrast with the grim ang gritty characters, plus he's generally seen as the only superhero who would be able to take down superman.

I know Captain America has been around forever, but I think it's just another way to show how American's love their country. Just an opinion. Next week there are 5 Dragonball Z movies on, all the weekdays. 11am, and 6pm. Who's going to be watching them?

I watched the DBZ movie Dead Zone earlier. It was rubbish. I was expecting it be at least an hour long. It was half an hour- 35 minutes. It wasn't even that good. Also, JAMIE!! JLU next monday 5:30pm!! Who do you love for this info?

It'll be a good reward. I have maths GCSE on Monday. Well, good luck. I won't give you any advice - I had to re-take GCSE Maths three times! But then again, I never was the sharpest tool in the cake.

JLU.. it was quite good. Not as good as JL but it's only the first episode. I miss Flash. Supergirl & The Green Arrow.. if it wasn't for the fact she had boobs, I'd say they've drawn her to look like 12/13. And The Green Arrow looks like 30 something. I like Green Lantern's new look though lol! Bald head, little moustache, and a goatee. I'd a little annoyed they didn't show everyone being recruited to the JL though. But oh well. Hope the next episode is better. Jamie, what did you think of it?

Hope the next episode is better. Jamie, what did you think of it? I've only just watched it! I'm gonna have to catch the 5:30 showings because I just can't bring myself to get up as early as 8:00am to watch a cartoon. Is it on every day? 'Cause the advert said only Mondays and Thursdays, but the TV guide says it's on every day. I liked it. Very action packed! The problem with having such an enormous ensemble cast is that you can only concentrate on a few characters per episode. I like Supergirl but she was a little annoying in this episode. Her appearence is the perfect compliment to Jeph Loeb's recent revival of the character. Had to laugh when she got thrown into a mountain, though. Thought it was a bit of a cop-out that Captain Atom didn't die - I thought he was a goner for sure. Really like Green Arrow, too. Don't really know much about the character, so this served as a nice introduction for me. GL is coming off awesome as one of the 'veterans' of the group. I'm glad that Phil La Marr returned as the voice of John - can't imagine anyone else doing it. Like the speech he gives Kara at the end. His goatee is pretty groovy too. I didn't recognise a lot of the cast in the opening and closing scenes - I caught a glimpse of Huntress in the first couple of minutes. Made me grin when I saw the little guy perched on Wonder Woman's shoulder - best seat in the house! What's his name - Ant-man or something? And was it Black Canary that Green Arrow was leering at in the last couple of minutes? Forgive my n00bishnessness. BTW, there appears to be two Daves. Will the real Dave please stand up...

I presume its Ray Palmer AKA the Atom as he's DC's resident shrinking man, theres a later episode where he spends a fair amount of time in wonder womans cleavege... And yes that is black canary, it apears that Green Arrow has a thing for blonds (he seemed to be giving super girl the eye a fair bit, ist she a bit underage, Ollie must like jailbait). The character shown are listed here www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-3914/epid-320624/The next episode (if the running order is the same) is based on an old Alan Moore story so consider it a must...

Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30pm. Both episodes are repeated on Friday, not sure what time though. And was it Black Canary that Green Arrow was leering at in the last couple of minutes? Forgive my n00bishnessness. I think it was Supergirl. Because they kind of gave eachother a little smile in the ship.. and the girl was blonde lol. BTW, there appears to be two Daves. Will the real Dave please stand up... Well, they're both me lol. D3K is the first account (this one) which I used to register. Then I switched emails, forgot my password, etc. So I made a new one, and started posting regularly as that one. I'm posting on this one because I'm banned until june 30th on my other one. I asked Retro to ban me so I don't get distracted and so that I do revision. (Lot of good that's doing : I'm going to be revising a lot tomorrow, I have English until 11:30. That gives me around about 2 1/2 hours to revise like hell for Psychology. Hardest subject ever.

Phil La Marr... that's the fourth time I've heard of him in a cartoon. Blimey, he must get around faster than Dan Castellaneta. Hey Jamie, does he still sound like Vamp or did that change? Slight change of subject: Managed to catch the Megas Episode 'Space Chicks' and as usual, it rocked. Jamie's love for women is gonna kill him someday... though it's a slight worry about what they're gonna do without their big protective dome... maybe we'll see them again?

The second JLU episode was really good.
Making Supes think that his people were still alive, and that he had a son. Really good idea, and it was good to see him get emotional about it.
And Bats thinking that the shooting of his parents didn't happen. Instead his Dad kicked ass.
Next one is on monday. Wonder what happens. Both episodes were repeated on Friday at 8pm I think.

The original comic had alot more going on with Krypton. Superman was subconciously trying to escape from his dream so the world began to fall apart with race riots, and Jor El getting involved in right wing politics. It was kinda missing from the overall story. That and Robin originally saved the day in the comic (he had spent most of the time prior oggling Wonder Woman).
Bruce's dad really gave a beating to that mugger, he went at it for about ten minutes. a history of violence must run through the family.

Lol. Well, the guy threatens your life, and that of your family. What would you do? The one today was alright. I was expecting something different though.. they showed 2 adverts earlier where the main JL members are kids. And WW catches Bats, never saw the rest though. Maybe on thursday that episode will be shown.
