I be reading Bill Bryson's At Home: A Short History of Private Life, which a friend got me for my birthday. It's basically the ultimate collection of "well-I-never-knew-that" titbits.

The last couple of months, I've been re-reading all my post-Nemesis Star Trek books. Man, I wish these were made into a TV series. A mini-series of the Destiny trilogy would be truly epic. ;D

Also slowly making my way through Jon Stewart and the Daily Show Present "Earth".

I was recently made aware of a limited series of comic books called The Marvel Saga. I've got both volumes of it in Marvel's Essentials format and it's really cool.
It was made as part of Marvel's 25th Anniversary celebrations and it essentially puts all the major events of the Marvel Universe up to that point in a cohesive order, reprints the appropriate panels and pages from the original comics and fills in the blanks with prosaic narration.
Obviously, since they came out there have been a hell of a lot of retcons and additions to the Universe, but it seems like an ideal starting point for me to learn about some of the characters I don't know much about.

Men At Arms.
Not as good as Lords and Ladies, but I don't think any other Discworld book I read will be.

Recently finished reading Batman: Inferno (which isn't a graphic novel, FYI). Today I bought a new book: WE3 by Grant Morrison (which IS a graphic novel). Already read it and I found it quite intriguing and also disturbing.

Currently got two on the go that are quite different: the original Redwall book by Brian Jacques, and the new Chris Jericho book, Undisputed. They're bloody good, but for starkly different reasons.

The History of Music: A Journey With Notes by James Naughtie. Wow, that took a long time to read. Started reading Michael Palin's Diaries 1969-1979 The Python Years again, fairly ripping through it now.

Got halfway through Great Expectations and gave up. Which is very odd for me, I usually love a bit of Dickens.
Now on Alastair Reynolds' Redemption Ark, which is very good. Although for the middle book of a trilogy, it takes far too long to reference anything that happened/anyone who appeared in the first book. Confused me, it did.
