Phew, if you wanted a copy of ALL the comics... I have no idea, but if you bought more than ten you'd automatically get 10% off everything. Alas, I have no Sonic Games, I guess I could get some but there would always be other big-brand websites out there that could buy 10,000 copies and offer you a better price

Try and work out how it'd all cost including shipping and you may have yourself a serious buyer.

Assuming the average cost of a comic is about £2.50, 184 comics would be £460, with 10% discount of £46 that'd be about £415. That should be about 16kg worth of comics, so shipping would be £11.65 on top.
Rough estimate for complete STC backlisting of issues 1-184 therefore is around £425. That could vary up or down slightly based on the quality you pick. Phew!

Lol thanks for that. I did just buy 10 issues from you because I need to check my library, I used to collect them for years but some issues are bad quality and some are great so I'll check 2moro and find out what issues im gonna need.

When it comes to posting all those off, how many parcels would you need to send them in?

It would probably be a very large box made entirely out of bubble wrap

Just bought myself the copy of Issue 1 they had with the original free gift (the stickers). Hopefully will get it in the next few days. I hope to slowly build up a collection, but it will take time, especially with my lack of money, mainly due to my driving lessons. Personally though, I find it quite odd that there are still issues around with the free gifts- you'd think the people who would have kept the gifts would be collectors who I doubt would be wanting to give them up. One thing I would like is issue 13 with the belt clip. I actually bought that originally back in 1993, and still had the beltclip as late as 1998 (the issue went misisng around 1996, and wasn't really in good condition then). Don't know where it went though.

Whats the odds of you getting hold of the issues that are out of stock?

High, I'll get hold of them at some point, its just a question of when. For the issues you want, add your email address to the stock alerts and you'll know as soon as they're in.

Got it this morning. Not only did it come sooner than I expected, but I was shocked when I opened it. Considering it's 13 years old, it looks brand new! Not a mark, scuff or crease to be seen anywhere. Whoever owned this before clearly looked after it very well. Even the stuff I though I looked after well doesn't look this good. Very impressed.
I've got a box under my bed I'm using to store all the editions I buy. Though I wonder what my mum will think if she sees is. She'd probabally be even more suprised if she found it's full of editions of STC rather than porno.

www.comicalgames.com is in one of those little Google ads you sometimes see at the top of this page and every other page of this forum. Just thought I'd mention that, cos it seemed pretty cool.

Hullo! First post here, I found the website for back ordering sonic the comics and e-mailed to ask if they knew what issues the storyline for sonic and knuckles was in, as I remember I enjoyed that one quite alot....can anyone here tell me? I've just been reading through the thread with the back history and it's very interesting...I have no idea where I stopped reading the comic, and I thought it finished in 2002....obviously not! I'm getting back into being a big Sonic fan again, I have the old games on my PS2 now and while I was on holiday this week I've been watching Sonic X on TV! Just when and why did Sonic start living in the real world?

Welcome sonicx. The Sonic 3 storyline runs from issue 33-38. Sonic and Knuckles is issue 47-53. Sonic's been on earth since Sonic Adventure came out in 1998, so he's been here a while!

Strange......why did he leave Mobius? And in what issue does Johnny Lightfoot die??!! Johnny popped it in #176, and was killed by a fatal blow by Chaos. The reason Sonic appeared on Earth has never really been explained, he just has. Not that anyone gives it a second thought...

Strange......why did he leave Mobius? He never did. Far as I'm concerned, the game's have always been set on Earth. It's just that SEGA of America found the game's to be adaptable, so they just called the planet 'Mobius' and said it was inhabited by anthros, the only human being Robotnik. When Adventure was released, and the first time Sonic Team decided to add more humans other then Robotnik, SEGA of America decided to say 'screw it' and throw Mobius away all-together. #176

I have only varied back issues. My mum, despite my protests, got rid of most of my comics. Such a pity.
Given my relative lack of computer savvy, I don't suppose I could get someone to explain exactly how link one (stc-archive) works?

Don't worry, I worked it out.
I have a new question.
Could I place my archive downloads and CDisplay onto a memory stick and put them on an internet-less computer?
Does CDisplay require the internet to work?
Please anwser, this is rather important.
