Something that really annoys me with music: Hearing a brilliant version of a song and mangaing to find only a half-arsed version of the same song up anywhere else.
Two perfect examples:
Cars by Gary Numan. Have a brilliant version on one of our tapes for the car, bulked up with more synth & drum layers than the version I keep finding anywhere else. I want the better one for my MP3 cos it's epic, but I can't find it.
Satisfaction by Benny Benassi. When I first heard this on the radio (Galaxy FM), the track had several more layers and sounded epic, the reason why I went and bought the single. I found I was ripped off, as it turns out the main version of the song is way more basic than the version I heard on the radio which, again, hasn't turned up anywhere else.

Yes, Gary Numan is a God. Quite right. His song 'Cars' was one of the best songs of the 80's I have ever heard.
I have got into new music lately, an artist named Graeme Norgate, the bloke who does the Timesplitters music for 2 of the games, DragonForce, who are excellent, Edguy, a type of heavy rock which I love and Avantasia, which is quite similar, apart from the lyrics of course.
So the music I love now are Keane, Muse, Crush 40, Eminem, KT Tunstall, DragonForce, Edguy, Avantasia and Graeme Norgate.

Try going on iTunes, it'll let you hear 30 secs of the song, and theres usually more than 1 version of the songs on there. Most likely its an album version or remaster or something. But I know what you mean, cos my friends version of cars is a lot more synthy.

Protheus R. Light is Cheats' ex boyfriend or something. He followed Cheats here onto the forum and just won't go away.

I second this. Take it to PMs, you two. On-topic, I got the new Guillemots album for my birthday. It's going on the iPod at some point. I loled at my 14 year old cousin saying "they try too hard to be different". She needs to hook up with my brother.

Found Eyeshine last night. They're pretty good, (lead singer/guitarist is Johnny Yong Bosch) but some of their songs are very Power Ranger-y. Sunday FlowerHere comes the end againNot really good (this is one their poorer songs) (I can see that last one being a source of humor for those that don't like 'em)
