Daaaamn, Arch. And I only beat the second dungeon today.... Also, does anybody else enjoy making Link dash all the time, just because the option's there? Yeah!! I do ;D

Whoever dreamed up Lanayru Desert should be castrated.
And that's from someone who enjoyed OOT's Water Temple.

This hasn't been commented on since Skyward Sword?
Zelda is by far my favorite video game series. I've always found it to be awesome, and I'd take it over plat forming any day.

There were some passing comments in the general gaming thread regarding Link between Worlds. Looking forward to the new one, if it is open world as has been suggested (and then denied by the maker).

Oh okay. yes I'd love an open world, that would be amazing. Even if it isn't though, the trailer made it look awesome. As long as they kept at least most of that detail I'd be happy (well that and if it's controls work since that's one of the biggest killers of zelda games)

Skyward Sword was the last newer Zelda game I played. I enjoyed it, sure it was a bit annoying in places, but I liked it a lot for what it was.

That's probably because I was borrowing the wii motion plus and my wii doesn't like the controllers though. Aside from the controls and Fi sometimes I thought it was well designed though.

I will admit I too struggled witn the Wii Motion plus thingy. Mainly because sometimes it was awkward to use, like swinging the sword, or I just couldn't get a good signal from that signal bar. I do agree Fi was a bit annoying, but only when she says you are low on health etc. I did quite like her, her music in the game was beautiful. Infact, I loved many tracks from that game, they were epic as hell. I especially liked some of the boss battle music, there was a mix of those. The last Zelda game I actually played was Wind Waker for Gamecube, I was doing a let's play on my YouTube channel, I reached Tower of the Gods, but just gave up on the let's play, meh lack of motivation drove me to end it. Wind Waker is still a mighty fine Zelda title, lovely music in that too.

I really need to pick up the HD version of Wind Waker at some point. Always really liked that game, mainly because of the gorgeous art style that actually allowed Link to have a discernible personality for once. Also need to pick up Ocarina 3D in preparation for Majora's Mask...
Anyway, I recently got Link Between Worlds for free (thank you, Club Nintendo!), so I played through that. Pretty neat game, in all, but perhaps a little too reliant on nostalgia for Link to the Past, a game I've not managed to play through to completion.

I remember Link to the Past, I played the GBA version back in 2004. I remember I'd take the game and my Game Boy SP to College, and try to get some progress in before class lol.

Massive open world, Epona controls herself (mostly), bullet-time, stuff from SS is carrying over, out next year, after Star Fox.

I can't wait for the new game! ... Even though I don't own a Wii U. Wind Waker is one of my favorite Zelda games though, so I won't be surprised if I buy one for Wind Waker HD.

I too don't own a Wii U, and actually Zelda: Wind Waker was the first 3D Zelda game I played. I remember getting the GameCube bundle with the game on Amazon in 2008. I've seen a let's play of the HD version, it looks even better.

I still don't own it myself, and my brother's copy died when during a move.

You played it at a barber shop? Do barber shops have a gaming section bit? Play a game while they cut the hair lol.

It had an area with a train set and television, and a place with two game cubes. The barber chairs all had game cubes and DVD players. Man, typing that out makes me think that place must of been a very successful business.
