PS 1 has so many games tho all you have to do is find the right ones tho there arent any sonic ones which is a real pain in the .... bum

if the ps1 wasn't able to run 'chipped' games, on-one would have bought it! oh yeah, virtual on is a good game, but why do the mech-thingys turn into ghosts? i also liked a robot-cop arcade game where I had to hold a big uzi thingy, ahem I used them both! and failed miserably decap attack was good it had action and slight rpg elemets in it, sort of a frankistien spoof I guess

Anyone who says Saturn is crud 9/10 times haven't even laid eyes on one because they were too busy worshipping thier PSOnes. There are some really unique games on the console, it's such a shame that it didn't very well...

i agree completyly LanDiSama, the saturn is my fave console because of the games. I always said that if I could only keep 1 console it would be the saturn

I'd say that my Saturn got more play than any other console I've ever owned, easily. I still play it sometimes, but now it's broken...have to try track down another one... Mourn for my lovely Saturn. For my mind, sunset over Uru in Panzer Saga is the single most beautiful thing in any game I've ever played.

ah yes panzer dragoon saga, truly the best RPG ever made. shame about your saturn, try gamestation or another world, failing that ebay. I only suggest teh shops first cause postage on ebay will bump the price right up due to the weight.

Yeah, I try to avoid the Internet for stuff like this. There's a really good specialist games shop called the Kart Klub near me, I'm going to have a looksie when I go home for the Easter holiday.

I'm from Farnham in Surrey, the place I'm talking about is in Aldershot in Hampshire, which is only about a mile and a half from where I live.

Saturn was only 32-bit wasn't it? Shouldn't be too hard to recreate them on Game Boy Advance...... I WANT NIGHTS! Has anyone here played Super Monkey Ball? Now THAT is fun.

The Saturn is still my fave console of them all. The two games that I love so dearly(Besides Sonic, obviously ^^ ) came out on it; Panzer Dragoon and NiGHTS.
I could go on for ages about how much I like those games, and I really wish that they had stories in STC.
STC wise, my fave non-sonic story had to be Decap Attack. Completely insane, right from the word go where it was introduced by a short-lived bat called Kevin(correct me if I'm wrong on this) XD

a panzer dragoon comic strip? Now there's an idea! If done right, it would be outstanding!

I do believe there may have been a Panzer Dragoon comic years ago, or at least a cameo appearance of the floating battleships in a Möebius comic. Unfortunately, I don't know much else on the subject, as I never saw the actual comic, just a scan of one panel on a website(which I've forgotten the URL of, now).
I've always been intreagued by it, as Möebius and Panzer Dragoon Zwei had a lot of similarities. I think it's time I took a trip to the local comic shop and thumbed through the back issue, just incase... o.o

If I remember rightly, the Saturn got good conversions of Quake and Duke Nukem 3D, and if you ad a save from both games, you unlocked an 8-player game called Death Tank... IT RULED.

The Saturn was incredible! (still is) NOTHING could or can touch the saturn pad for capcom beat em ups. Got my saturn chipped solely for xmen vs streetfighter which I play at least 1ce a week! NiGHTs was a beautiful, beautiful game which everyone who thinks they know videogames should own. Panzer saga is my all-time fave RPG, absolutely adore that game, virtual on was brilliant, Grandia was originally saturn exclusive (better than its sequel). Burning Rangers is also great, some innovative stuff with the voices there! too many others to remember. I would definitely say saturn had a higher ratio of great games than ps1. While I'm talking bout sega, gotta give love to Jet Set Radio and possibly the most absorbing videogame I've ever experienced: Shenmue. Would love to do a comic of that one day, dunno how it'd work tho 'Excuse me, have you seen any sailors?'... sorry, I go off on one when talking about the saturn

Don't forget that other gold retro title - OutRun. Very popular at the arcades - and now they've released the sequel! A nice sequel at that. ^_^
