Just a general question. This was a videogames magazine that started up around the same time as STC. It was pretty awesome, and had a huge coverage of games. It was published by Dark Horse if I remember correctly, and it had four comic strips of big games at the time. They were: 1. Lemmings - it was a really great and funny strip, with excellent art and writing, that basically treated Lemmings as some kind of mythological creature that was completely unfounded. 2. Toejam and Earl - wierd, trippy comic strip penned by Woodrow Phoenix, who did STC once (think it was #3 he did, the Labyrinth one). This strip was was very bright and garish with bold outlines, the story was pure bizarre. 3. Chuck Rock - really distinctive art style, slightly poor writing if I recall, bit of a Flintsones rip-off. 4. Greendog - really, hilariously funny strip which was very Bill and Ted, most of it was about a giant crab and an island of dinosaurs. Good art, too. Anyone remember this? It was rarely found in shops at about 1993/1994, and there was only two issues ever, after that it presumably got discontinued/cancelled/whatever. It would make my day if anyone else remembers it as well as I do! I'm pretty sure I've still got them both somewhere, too...

Oh my God, I LOVED Max Overload! Not only were all the comic strips delightful, it had a lovely mix of news and reviews and was just an all-round fantastic little magazine. I was heartbroken when I realised it wasn't continuing.

It was only two issues, right? I clearly remember seeing the preview for the third, but it never came out.
Must dig 'em out...
