this game looks sooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooool I so want to play it thank god nintendo went back to the old n64 look of link in stead of the drawn by a 9 year old cartoon. I hope gannon returns that would be awsome.(he might be in it I dont' know I havent' read much about it)

Personally I think he will appear. remember the history bit at the very beginning of wind waker, where it tells of the end of the hero of time and the great war, ending with the floods. I reckon that this game'll tell the tale of the great war and end with the OOT Link's last stand and the flooding, in which case Ganon'd be a big part of it. We'll see...... What do other people think?

That'd be very cool, but remember the whole point is that when the crunch came for Hyrule the Hero didn't appear and save the day. Whether that was because he took an axe/sword/arrow/magic spell to the face-area and carked it is unknown. It'd be pretty remarkable to see Nintendo release a Zelda game which ends with Link's (or one of the many Links, anyway) death.

I reckon that this Link is Wind Waker Link but more mature. Maybe it picks up where WW left off....

Nintendo haven't confirmed or denied if it's OOT Link, but they have definitely said it ain't Wind Waker Link, they only referred to the game as WW2 before E3 to keep the real game a surprise. (and cos it use the safe game engine I guess...)

The next zelda game coming out has the original link in it. The next wind waker will have the wind waker link. There has only been like 2 links and although he does change in age that dosent change his being. And termina is Hyrule but a different dimension.

I thought he got outta there at the end? (don't really know, never got to finish the game) When Ganon returned and overran hyrule, link was in termina. The gods, without the hero to save hyrule, intervened and caused the great flood. When link returned, it was too late. That's my theory.

good theory, I wonder how the new link from wind waker was able to become a decendent of Link. Was he just choosen to be the New Link or did grandpa Link do the nasty in the pasty.

Less than no chance. Link deliberately never speaks so the player can build up their own personal idea of what personality he has in their own head. These are the Words Of Miyamoto.
