Dynamite Headdy was a classic game on the MegaDrive. You play as this guy who looks similar to Rayman (no limbs) and you attack enimies by changing his head into different syte bombs or something. I honestly can't remember too much about it, as I haven't played it in such a long time.

And yes, Chuck really did chuck Head as his main attack. ;D

It's hard until you realise that you can stand on steps even when they are off-screen. When Trouble Bruin shakes his head and flies at you, smack him one.

Awesome game, but way too hard for me. I could get up to the boss that I can't remember the name of. It was the one you fight with Heather, and she throws the Keymasters' keys into the basket on his back. I did have a level select which I used to see the other levels, but they were all impossible.

The whole game's music was superb. It was my favourite game soundtrack 'til NiGHTS came along.

Click here to see some guys Flash movie on Ristar versus Dynamite Headdy. It's pretty good until it gets stupid at the end. www.dillnbill.com/bill/flash/rvh.htmlI collect random Internet crud like this.

That was pretty funny! ;D Yeah, the end bit was a bit stupid, even though funny as well. Ahh, Ristar! That was one of my favourite games and one of the first games I managed to complete! It was pretty hard as you got nearer but I loved every moment of it. Defeating Greedy was legendary in gaming history.

Okay, I just "aquired" DH through the magic of the Internet. It's a superb game, but enormously hard. Got to the Down Under level before I got hopelessly stuck. Don't really have the patience for it, but I love all the different heads. I'm a big fan of Rayman, but that game ripped an awful lot of stuff from DH.
Y'know, 2D platformers were at their absolute peak of excellence before they died.

Got to the Down Under level before I got hopelessly stuck. "Act 3" (Down Under, Backstage Battle, The Green Room, Clothes Encounters) is the worst bit of the game. Perservere, you'll be glad you did.

The only truly tough scenes are- Stair Wars The Flying Game Fly Hard Fly Hard 2 Baby Face Headdy Wonderland Twin Freaks Far Trek Finale Analysis Down under is ridiculously easy 0_o I can't see how anyone could possibly struggle with it. Ditto Backstage Battle. The Green Room is interesting, defeat the Puppeteer first for a bonus point. The wooden dresser is also basic. Just hit all the targets, then her heart.

Well I eventually did Down Under, and then got hopelessly stuck on backstage battle. It's a really fun fight, I just can't seem to....survive it.
