I hate to burst your bubble... oh who am I kidding? I love to depress people. that's why i'm here.
Anyhoo, the problem with all those amzing features in Emerald is that there's a 90% chance we wont get them. nintedo seem to hate those from the US and europe as they costantly remove features from the japanese versions of the games. we got no mew. we got no celebi and ow I fear, we will lose out on half the features of emerald as well...
i hope that's not the case. i've put off buying ruby/sapphire so far. if emerald has those features listed, I will definatley buy it.... along with fire red. ;D

If you're talking about the originals, Mews could be downloaded onto them using special machines that Nintendo took on their Pokemon tour. They were limited to one per person, but I cheated and got 17. ;D

Since I can't test it, it doesn't work. You're banned. Seriously, that's cool. I remember all the theories away back hen on how to get Mew.

i remember a few. one was that you had to catch every pokemo then talk to the guy in the large building in celadon... incidently that actually works in the japanese version. the other had something to do with a parked truck somewhere on the map. once you moved it, mew was underneith... that theory was a load of garbage, though.

I bought Leafgreen. I even put my guitar pedal on buyback to get it. Why? Because Green is the remake of Blue, and when I was twelve, I got blue on release date. Sapphire, gold, all that schwite can stay where it is. Red and Blue (and green ) rules. This is the part where I beat up Shadic with a big stick. ;D Bulbasaur rules. Not only is he Number One, but he was the only good thing about the cartoon (Besides Team Rocket and making fun of Brock). That episode where he's fighting evolution was awesome. Of course, that was when I was about twelve. If I watched it now I'd probably hate it. Unsurprisingly.

I always chose Charmander, if you could get the first two badges with him then you are truely hardcore. Yes! Especially in the originals *F.R gives him metal claw*. It's hard in the begining.. but it pays out over time. Plus.. charizard is undoubtly the coolest looking pokemon. In Gold and silver I'd always choose totodile.. cause he's cool!
