This is a discussion topic for the two Advance Metroid games, Zero Mission and Fusion.
Might I recommend you acquire these games? Damn good challenge as well as immense fun to play, with a sensible navigation system to prevent disorientation as well as vast amounts of secrets.
Fusion has an exemplary storyline and had me hooked from beginning to end. Zero Mission is, IMO, the better game, as it's just such a seamless experience. Sure, it can be beaten in about an hour if you memorise EVERYTHING, but that's the point! Fast times in Metroid = less clothes at the end!!! IT'S LIKE THEY MADE IT FOR ME!
Awesome bosses, too - Fusion plays host to the wonderful Nightmare and SA-X. Zero Mission on the other hand has the best damn Ridley battle i've ever fought. Meta-Ridley is fun too.
Anyway... discuss, people!

Metroid Fusion rocks. SA-X is the most challenging boss in Metroid history. Omega Metroid is easy compared. And it's the only game in history that makes my heart jump right out my ass. So scary, in fact, it takes me atleast half an hour to realise it wasn't my heart.

THIS THREAD IS FOR ME!
Fusion is one of the hardest games I have ever played. The Spider Boss was extremly tough. I had a headache for two days after I beated it. And when I fought the SA-X, I almost burst a vein in frustration of losing over and over again, but hey, I got it in the end.
Zero Mission, well, I don't think its better. Not because its easier and shorter, that'll be stupid. Yes, Samus runs faster then on Fusion. Yes, the graphics were better. But to me, it just didn't seem the same as Fusion. Don't ask why, Zero Mission is not an exception to the brilliance of the Metroid games. I guess it maybe because Fusion could scare the [censored] out of me when encountering the SA-X, among other things.
Though Ridleys battles are by far the best parts in any Metroid game. The guy himself, his attacks, his theme music, everything about him ROCKS.
In fact, some of you would know by now, Ridley is my favourite fictional character ever. I dream of playing as him one day. That won't happen in a Metroid game, but what about a SSB sequel?
This is a little bit Off-Topic, but I'm wondering if he'll be in Metroid Prime 2, properbly not, as we've seen no signs of him. But it'll damn cool to see him in 3D again.

I think it's called Metroid Prime: Hunters.
It's a 4player FPS controlled with the stylus.
On another note: I get my DS next month ^_^
