Aye, I felt the nostalgia glands tingling when I discovered the Origins levels. I think they've been tweaked slightly as well; I can't put my finger on it, but somehow they feel "smoother" to run through than they used to.

I think it's both that the Legends mechanics are smoother and less picky about Lum count. One of Origins' biggest problems was that, in order to get the necessary 350 Lums to get the top score on most levels, you could rarely afford to leave a Lum behind. In Legends, so long as you're relatively thorough, you'll be meeting the 600 Lum count easily.

Secret of Mana - COMPLETED... almost! I made it to the final boss, but unfortunately the required magicks I need to beat it aren't at a high-enough level. For the whole game pretty much, I've only been using magic during boss fights, so they've not been rising in level that much. The last summon, Dryad, hasn't levelled at all, it's still at Level. 0, and since I need its Mana Magic to kill the Mana Beast... well, I wasn't gonna do it this time around. Sadly, now I'm gonna have to go back and grind relentlessly until all my weapons and summons are maxed out which will probably take FOREVER!

Sadly, now I'm gonna have to go back and grind relentlessly until all my weapons and summons are maxed out which will probably take FOREVER! See, that's just one of many reasons why I think Secret of Mana sucks so much; the magic system is terrible. Having spells level up the same way you level up weapons is a monumentally bad idea, especially as the characters get nowhere near enough MP to cast them repeatedly. The grind required to get magic to a decent level is perverse; it almost defeats the purpose of using magic altogether.

Oh, there you are. NOW I remember why I stopped playing. XD I still might give it a try again, but yeah, that does suck.

Oh well, I saw my brother Andy play the game all the way through way way back when we had a SNES, so I know how the ending goes. I still made it to the final boss, so that's a win in my book. I'll probably go back to it and finish it properly eventually, but in the meantime I think I'll plug the 360 back in and carry on with Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Just installing Grand Theft Auto V now. Then I'm going to enjoy what looks to be the biggest and best game ever created. Well done Rockstar!! EDIT: Playing it now. It's perfect.

Been having a few goes at Bit.Trip Complete on the Wii lately.
While most of the games are enjoyable, Void is my clear favourite.

Well, I would have downloaded it the day it came out, but I'd been having trouble with getting access to the marketplace for a while. I finally fixed the problem, and I've began playing a game I've been aching to play since the second it was announced:
The Castle of Illusion remake.
So far it's so good, if I didn't know any better, I'd say that it's god's way of apologizing to me about the fact I'm probably going to die alone. If you are, in fact, up there big guy: apology accepted.

GTA V. Kinda enjoying it. Didnt play GTA IV so controls are weird to me. Its not really sucking me in. Kinda reminding me of Red Dead Redemption in terms of that problem tbh.
Assassins Creed Liberation. Spoilt myself to a Vita and this was the freebie game I chose. The other games were Black Ops Vita, FIFA 13 and Little Big Planet Vita. And I didn't thing all that much of LBP. Its a nice little game. Combat confuses me. Main character is better than the one in the main AC3.
Sonic Generations. Now pining for Sonic Generations 2. ;_;

Sonic Generations. Now pining for Sonic Generations 2. ;_; Amen to that! *raises pint glass* I've been playing Fez. Wow, what a game. Such a simple concept but it occasionally screws with my brain! Also I see stuff on the walls and backgrounds that I just know are some kind of code, but as yet I have no idea how to read it. And no, I don't wanna cheat!

Grand Theft Auto V. I should never be allowed near the controls of a plane.
Also hate being unable to install the second disc (apparently it mucks up your game somehow), as my disc drive sometimes makes this really loud buzzing noise. I'm honestly afraid this thing might blow up one of these days.

AC Revelations - I've bought up almost every shop in the city and completed the first four DNA sequences.

I'm honestly afraid this thing might blow up one of these days. Get a 16GB+ USB 3.0 stick (or the official branded 360 one - I've found that even though the USB 3.0 sticks are perfectly fine and will be fast enough, the Xbox still complains about them in a "well, just buy the expensive one with our name on it" kinda way...) and install it to that. That will avoid the streaming issues of installing the second disc to the hard-drive, but shut the disc drive up.

Sanic Laste Wordo. HMMMM. I played Frozen Factory 3 (Casino Night Homage) Might not have been the best level to play on my first go. It doesn't feel anything like Generations. Its kinda slow. Camera really far away. Graphics were nice. I just dont know about it. Bayonetta 2. I dont know if it looks better than the first one. BUT, Its not the same level textures etc. And then I cuddled Bayonetta and Harley Quinn. Lego Marvel 2 looked nice. Couldn't see Xbox one and PS4 stuff clearly and my legs ached for standing. Nintendo really need to get some more floor space at these events. Sega's indie games section was bigger.

Flicked on Metroid Prime again 'cos GOD DAMN DAS SOME GOOD GAME Learned that the Trilogy version will save your scans across playthroughs. I got 100% of the scans last time (of course I did), and now... I dunno if I like this as much. I want to scan things, dammit! This makes the game too fast for me, there isn't as much opportunity to drink in that atmosphere. Is that insane?

Dysfuctional Systems: Learning To Manage Chaos. It's the first VN I've played where I've been able to comfortably imagine the characters with British accents.

Managed to at least see the intro to GTA Online. Wouldn't really call it playing - but it's as close as I'm seemingly going to get for a while...

Sonic Generations 3DS. Thanks to the copy pasted level design in the classic era, I actually discovered the location of a special stage ring in Mushroom Hill Zone Act 1 that I didn't know about before.
