Whoo, my Wii didn't break on the update! Though until I configure Zonealarm I need the firewall turned off on my PC to be online. Mr. Captain: 2071 4319 0396 8803I have the power!

My Wii's disc tray light doesn't seem to work correctly. :/ But that's pretty much a non-problem, so meh.
Anyway, friend code - which took me WAY too long to try and find where they were hiding it:

Neither did mine which is good. When I find the friend code, I'll stick it here - although what use is it if internet gaming isnt up yet? YOU HAVE NO FAITH SIR. FOr one, you can send messages. For another, when Metroid Prime Corruption is out I WILL CRUSH YOU ALL with my skills from Hunters. Thank you.

The Wii has Pokemon Battle Revolution (with really nifty Character customisation) and SSBB online.
Which is far and away all I'll ever need to have online for the Wii.
... I should probably point out to X that Metroid Prime 3 wont be online, huh?

It will also give it more maps and such.

You probably read me saying that Retro Studios said it was an option available at a later date, but not that they definitely would.
It definitely isn't going to be online at launch though, and unlikely to see a multiplayer patch any time close to its release - which could mean this time next year before they get it. If they get it at all.

Don't worry about it. Pokemon isn't the best game to show off the Wi-fi, mainly because Nintendo went to a great extent to make sure it was kid friendly, as kids will be the ones mostly playing it. This could be why we're seeing lack of options and isolation from strangers.
If I was a child, I certainly wouldn't want strangers hardening my ekans.

Send messages? Really? Like we do on here? Or by email through our email accounts? Damn! I need to sign myself up for this newfangled messaging service. quote] Why not just post up our phone numbers up here? I hear theres a new service where by you text people messages? Or post up our XBOX 360 acounts, and add each other? (ashamed to admit he actually has both of these)

I guess I could share mine. I don't think I could fill 100 address book slots too quickly anyway...

So how are we doing this? Confirming each other on here or just adding each others numbers randomly hoping other will accept?

Added you X. I'll update this post if I add a few other people. Now added the Captain too. I'm really not big on just randomly adding people though. I'd like to be able to confirm with them that it's OK to do so, just in case I get anyone who actually doesn't want to. When adding someone and attaching a Mii, is this supposed to be your Mii so they can have a copy of you on their Mii channel or what? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but it's got me so confuzzled!
