I'm bumping this to see if anyone has a copy of Rock Band 1 for the 360 they wouldn't mind loaning to me via the post for a day (well, a couple of days given delivery times).

I just want to use it to import the tracks into RB2 and I'd have it sent back either the day I got it or the day after depending on the time it arrived, so it really wouldn't be out of your hands very long.

Quick news ahead of time.

I'm looking into moving to a flat of my own at some point this year.

One of the things I've told myself to do is use the extra space to set up older consoles on an older TV (they don't connect to my HDTV) to allow myself once more the old consoles on an actual TV and not through *cough* other methods...

So come that point I will be looking to reaquire many older consoles, generally of the Atari, Sega and Nintendo variety. Not all of mine have survived intact through the years due to sloppy removal men and other such reasons, a grand pity considering I made sure to always be careful with them. One box slips from some idiots hands though...

That aside, just a heads up. As such I'll probably be looking at grabbing mucho things from yourself Stu.

Ive got an Atari 2600 with games and stuff if you're interested. You'd have to be prepared to pay for the postage though, but since the atari is fairly light, it may not be too bad.

A good idea is to go to places like Oxfam and ask. People do donate old consoles and stuff - but Oxfam can't actually sell them because they're electrical goods. When I was volunteering, I managed to pick up another Megadrive, a PSOne, a SNES and an N64, all with some games, and all for free (though I left a donation) because we couldn't do anything else with them.

You can also bet that keeping an eye on eBay will set you up with plenty of access to the more rare stuff ('specially Atari stuff).

Edit: Should point out that the main reason Oxfam are the best to look to in this case is 'cos unlike most charity shops you'll have on the road that primarily just take drop-ins, Oxfam collect wholesale and then send them out like a normal shop would take deliveries. There's a lot more chance therefore that stuff like consoles will be in the donations where if they were simply dropped in personally, they'd be turned away on the spot.
