The pages Adamis posted were awesome, but they pale in comparison to several STC moments. The two that come to mind are:
- Sonic being sent into the future where Robotnik had enslaved everyone and ruled the world.
- The last few panels in the issue Johnny is killed.

As long as no one puts any of the 25 Years Later strips up, I'm fine.
Just when Archie gets really good, they have to totally take a [censored]e over everything and make these lame as [censored] future stories where everyone has annoying kids.

Sometimes, Shad, it looks like you love to find some bad pages only for "mockery". Do you know you can also post good pages too? That would be, y'know, interesting! What? Disparaging the hat is a hattable offence! Yeah, sorry. Its just... For the record, the Knuckles series, after a VERY shaky start, (Locke has the power to create oasis's?) its really, really good. Also, all the new stuff is quite good. Except for Robotnik's defeat in 177/8? (have to check the numbers). THESE ARE ALL OLD AND DO NOT REFLECT ON THE QUALITY OF CURRENT ISSUES  Locke's sensitive side revealed! (not taking the piss here, I quite liked this)      (I promise, these are the last silly ones I post!)  Archie predicts gamers ire. Also, Knuckles finally sticks up for Julie-Su. STC Fan-art? in my Archie? Seven days... Also Mighty going bat[censored] insane was cool.  Yes. Yes it was. I promise I'll put some better stuff tonight! Especially of Finetivus. |

I think my brain gets damaged every time I look at one of those pages... I know some keep saying "oh, it isn't all that bad, really", but these examples are not filling me with confidence.

i like archie to be honest then again i'm just a huge sonic head the Enerjak story line was pretty good but they do focus a bit too much on relationships don't they lol

Or even better, just post links! <_< Nah, no one can be bothered with links. Pics are fine. And to be honest, The Shad posted some good covers from Archie. No need for people to start whining about how archie was never given a chance here, how you can really see it's inner beauty if you look, how all of us and STC have been no good at times. Let Archie speak for itself through its pics. I'm enjoying some of those stories and pictures. The only problem I have with Archie is that it feels a little too weird at times. You know, knuckles having a father and going to school and stuff. The over-annoying american humor doesn't always help either. And some of it's stories seem too much, and the themes are overplayed a little. I'm not trying to bash Archie here, it just feels like......you know the new TMNT? The one where they always have alternate dimensions and crazy new enemies? How many alternate Sonics have there been? That's what Archie feels like to me. Some people say "Oooh, it's more grounded than STC because Sonic has to deal with real issues like Family. Romance." But....for me, having a load of secondary family characters dampens the effect a little. |

Both Archie and STC are just cheesy, IMO. I read Archie for the art and STC for occasional Super Sonic pwn, but I don't really consider one better than the other. D:

Yeah, there's definitely some bad of STC as well. Like the way they stop the Metallix brotherhood. And I wasn't a fan of the Tekno/Amy weird dimensions either. And to this day Super going all hippy still bothers me. I mean, I get why it was done, and it probably wasn't all that bad in hindsight, but still.
Both are good at times: both have their bad side.
