Yeah, it was called 'Ninja princess' in Japan and was ported to the Master System as just 'The Ninja'. It's on a Saturn Sega Ages disc I own.

Would be a pretty tough sell outside of Europe and Brazil though. The Master System was an utter flop everywhere else - a massive chunk of Americans haven't even heard of it.

Sega loses 1,000,000 Points Quote: I'll answer this then… Sonic & Knuckles is not combinable with Sonic 2 or 3 in the collection I'm afraid. Also Sonic CD is a Mega CD/SEGA CD game so perhaps it will materialise another time should SEGA do a compilation of games that were launched with the console add-ons. I'm sure lots of you would like a chance to play some of the 32X titles for instance. Sonic CD is also available on the Sonic Gems Collection incidentally. SAUCE >=(Lock on for DLC?

I mentioned a 32x/Mega Cd comp in the sonic zone Mega Drive Collection thread. A 32x one would be especially good since hardly anyone had one.
No Sonic 2/3 + Knuckles = fail, but I spose its not like no-one cant get their hands on another format of it. Even so, its a basic error.

It'd be nice if they had at least included Knuckles Chaotix, since despite most people's hatred of the game, it still hasn't seen a re-release, unlike many other equally unworthy games.

The amount of sonic collections that have come out to, its surprising that Chaotix has never been put on any of them. It must be the only sonic, all be it a spinoff, game I haven't actually played, I would like to give it a go and judge it for myself, and then just say I have it because I'm a huge sonic fan and have every other sonic game....except the arcade one....

Yeah, when you think about it, there are some pretty dire sonic games on compilations, so Chaotix doesnt really have an excuse to not be on one.

Emulating the 32X just for one game? And one that isn't even fondly remembered by the Sonic community and isn't remembered at all by others?
You can't really blame Sega for never putting Knuckles Chaotix on these collections. It is a lot more trouble then it is worth.

I dont think emulating a 32x on a disk would be that much trouble. If they can put MS/MD and Mega Cd games on the one disk they can do that. Id say 75% of sonic gems isnt fondly remembered, nor remembered at all too. Plus I like Chaotix.

It was going to be on Gems Collection, but was left out for reasons which one can only guess were emulation issues.

I thought Chaotix was on Gems Collection and it - along with CD and Fighters - was the reason people even bothered with Gems Collection; to complete their collection.

Sonic's World.
I had heard a rumour that all Sega/Backbone are doing is using an open source emulator (Gens or Kega) and poshing it up a bit. Well that's what I had heard for the Sega Mega Drive Collection. And seeing as there are good emulators for both Mega CD and 32X now, its entirely possible for Chaotix to make an appearance.
The Hex Pipe special stage was awesome.

Seriously though, the most common MD emulator wanted you to pay to use a joypad! wtf?!

No I mean on the most popular MD emulator for mac, I forget the name of it. It was total balls anyway, it had very few features and didnt work for all games, and the paying to use a joystick was just insulting.
Kega is sexcellent.
