Sega owns one of the earlier versions of Kega, I believe. You mean KGen? Because that was what was around before Snake decided to make Fusion.

I used to prefer Gens for quite a few years, but then got a bit annoyed with it because of a joypad issue. It was odd, my old Microsoft Sidewinder pad worked fine with it, but then I changed computers and my new one didn't have the connection for the old style joypad slot, so I had to go and get a USB pad, but for some reason the diagonal directions didn't work. Switched to Kega because they did work on there, but then I found I prefer it anyway because it's better designed, sleeker and saves the need for a separate MS/GG emulator.

Oh dear Sega: blogs.sega.com/usa/2009/02/10/sonics-ultimate-genesis-collection-yes-it-has-sonic-games-too/This 'Sonic 3 + Knuckles' feature wasn't included for Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. I spoke with the producer for Sonic's UGC, Ethan Einhorn, who definitely understands the nature of hard-core Sonic fandom. We had a good conversation about the game, and I got Ethan's official explanation for why Sonic 3 + Knuckles wasn't included: "To shore up the development time necessary to get "Lock-On" to work in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, we would have had to drop all of the bonus games from the disc. Faced with an either/or scenario, we chose to retain our title lineup in its entirety." Bonus picture: And its out on the same day as Street Fighter IV

What development time? They already [censored]ing emulated it before.
What bull[censored], they're clearly just saying "we're going to sell this to you for 800MS Points in about 2 months".

It would take about an hour to implement it into the game. In the age of Metal Gear Solid 4 and eleven years after Shenmue, apparently Sega are incapable of something they did in 1994, then again on the PC, GC, PS2, XBox and [censored]ing Saturn.
What a load of crap.

I wouldn't be surprised if S3&K showed up on XBLA to be honest.

Odd, Play.com has this listed as in stock. Maybe they already have it?

I saw this for £20 in Sainsbury's earlier and am highly tempted (to be honest I'd shell out for it just for Shining Force 2). Is it worth a punt or is the emulation screwed up?

Yeah, you'll like it. Get it.
Edit: As far as emulation goes I think it's pretty much perfect but maybe uses rendered sound, which only about two people will be bothered by anyway.

You guys should know, back in my evil overlord days I found a list of all the titles/stars available. I think it went up to 10 stars but I can't remember what the titles were. Poke around in your mod-box to find it.
