In STC, I always had the doubt about the age of our hedgehog, taking into account the numbers of christmas celebrated

In Japan sonic was always like 10 years old. They wanted him to be like an immature kid with an attitude the west had him as 16 ish from the off then the official adventure gam reconned him to 16 officially

He was fifteen according to the games - he then had seven Christmassy issues and two Christmas stories in STC-O, so he's twenty four.
Though don't expect STC-O to say anything except "young".

I think I might be worth assuming like an episode of the Simpsons, that sonic isn't really getting older, or a least not every time we have a Christmas issue.
I mean to take it to it's logical extreme in the comic's back in the day a year past at about the pace of a year given the Christmas issues, the new years stories and the mention of 5 years in power in robotnik reigns supreme.... and foolishly (at least in my opinion) the idea that time is passing in such a linear fashion is reinforced in stc-o's data zone in issue 250 where we state,
'over two years ago, Sonic made a deal with the alien Drakon Empire to gain the Chaos Tap, a device needed to stop Mobius' destruction...but he knew they might one day use it to launch an invasion! Now, thanks to a media smear campaign and being framed by an old foe, Sonic is Mobius' most wanted and isolated from his friends. Mobius is at its most vulnerable...'
but if you assume that hold's true then almost 20 years have passed since issue 1 till now, which would make sonic in his mid 30's and if your too old to be a professional footballer are you too old to be the hero of mobius?
Next Issue: Sonic get lumped with overtime from the boss and has to call to rearrange a g'good time' with the marxio's who were hired to come and fix the light's in his house. He's also worried about keeping to with his bill repayments in the current financial climate.

Man no matter how old Rich draws sonic it's still awesome regardless age change or style change. I rember he had a tartan blanket in the image but clearly I've made that up my mind must be going just like old sonics. Yeah I love coronas art too he's my third fave STC artist he's got brilliant colouring techniques . On topic wonder if old sonic knows what kind of other sonic games we are yet to play

In sonic x, The flow of time in Sonic's world is considerably slower than on Earth, with one month in Sonic's world equaling an entire year on Earth.

Yeah but I couldn't get into sonic x so I never found anything they say about sonic valid What on Earth..? That's like people saying The Phantom Menace was rubbish, so anything that happened in it "isn't valid" to the Star Wars universe. Tough titties, because it is. OK, not quite because Sonic X isn't "canon" to the bigger picture, but an opinion doesn't make something invalid, whatever that means.

i liked the definition of time in Sonic x. Some how I found it easy to follow and, in a sense, also legit. However, that really can't be said for STC-O. Time really feels like flowing but in different ways on the base of the adventures. The fight against Robotnik really felt like a life time, but on the other hand the timespan that kept Sonic in the Special zone and the FF's rebellions on Mobius till the final victory felt extreamly short. Funny enough, Amy and Tekno's ring adventures felt like forever but Sonic's dealing with the Drakons in the meantime felt like nothing. A bit odd.....
However as facts are now, I would call (only as feeling no basis) Sonic a guy in his early 20' (no more than 24) Tails in full youth around 17 and Amy just a few years younger than Sonic. The guy that really feels old is Porker, though. Yeah, totaly! How old is the guy? around 30-35?

Hold on I said I meaning me personally I don't like sonic x valid because I don't like it. Therefore to me at least I wouldn't define anything sonic did in sonic x cannon. Like when they did the adventure arc and tails recaps how he met sonic. Where he looked like his newer carnation design meaning classic never took place. I'd hate to think that ugly design choice is what sonic x would define how sonic looked in the glory days. And besides sonic x technically isn't cannon as its sort of alternate universe to the official sonic cannon ( what ever that may be) if it was weed all have to have Chris as an official character dear god have mercy on us all.
