Hi! New here. I dug out my old StC collection that was stored away well in a box with cornflake folders - thank heavens those never went to the shed like my farthing woods. They were never boarded or bagged (comic noob) and I'd like to sell them, so this seems a potent place to advertise the fact. I have #1 through #132 missing only 81 and 126, and I have the 95 and 96 Holiday Specials, and Poster Mag 2.
In theory I'd love to sell these individually on eBay since I'm aware that some particular single comics have fetched a hefty price before, and it might work out making more. I would however then have a nightmare of admin with buying sufficient stuff to protect them from bending, and a whole heap of postage calcs to do with people buying multiples and such.
Only a couple of editions have the outer pages separated. This isn't my field but based on my expertise with videogames I'd say the collection is in very good condition overall; minimal page bending in the corner, kept in the dark/dry for a long time, and only a few have some writing in (one survey, and a few questionnaire/quiz things in the middles). Some editions still have the gift/accessory present too as you will see.
I would really appreciate any knowledge from you guys first of all in what issues are rare: I know only generally that earlier issues are common, and that I've seen a few singles fetch £25-£35 where the usual going rate would be more like £3-6. Based on an offer from someone elsewhere images unseen I'd say the collection would be worth £300 or more. Certainly if I got a good bid I'd be glad to part with them all at once or in bundles as requested - I don't need to squeeze every penny by any means as I'm also selling a massive bundle of childhood books and toys right now so in some sense I want to minimise my admin lest I end up taking parcels to the post office until I'm a skeleton. Not to mention that if I went through eBay it'd become increasingly hard to get the right price with their fees attached.
I've attached a basic images album that you can look through. I haven't listed anything yet because I'd rather research/discuss with interested groups like you first, and if you can put me in contact with any other relevant interested collectors that'd be fantastic. I should also note I'm currently selling a couple of sonic themed items on my ebay (tomy sonic pinball and sonic puzzle ball) with a couple more to come up in future, so if you'd permit a shameless plug in the circumstances head on over to www.ebay.co.uk/sch/mrsornia/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= and take a gander.

Looking forward to hearing from you all! <3
