A fox, a dog and he came very close to being a rabbit. Other ideas were: Crocodile, Chicken and Mouse.
And Turbo, there are 2361 Different Badniks.

Thats not a good thing to do...last time I caught him out at anything he started hunting me down with a katana... *Picks up his arm after that encounter* And yeah you got my question, time for a new one, Retro question 3 - How many spikes traditionally make up a spike trap in Sonic Games?

Retro question 2 - What was Sonic originally to be...a____or a _____... The final two choices were between the Armadillo, and the Hedgehog. The hedgehog design was chosen and became Sonic, wereas the Armadillo design later came back as Mighty. The rabbit design was one of the intial ideas that was scrapped very early on. Oh, and as for the number of Emeralds in the games, eight. The Chaos emeralds BECAME the Super emeralds, they are the same seven. Those, plus the master emerald. Tails' fake isn't TECHNICALLY an emerald- it's fake.

i'm sorry, but nowhere in the games, does it state that the chaos and super emeralds are the same. there is a shrine for the super emeralds, and yet the chaos emeralds have always been situated on mobius. kinda contradicts that, doesn't it? in STC, the emeralds did indeed tur into the super emeralds, but that was only becuase both sets of emeralds were joined. there was 14 before that.

You don't think they're maybe making all this up to fit the game in question by any chance, do you?

It would seem the Super Emeralds ARE the Chaos Emeralds in the games. Proof?
The Chaos Emeralds become super sized when at the Master Emerald shrine. My thoughts are: The Master Emerald can awaken the Super Emeralds power when near them, turning them into Super Emeralds but keeping the Chaos power.
That made no sense.
So, question: What year did Knuckles debut?

in the games, the master emerald was not one of the standard emeralds. cos we see it in the shrine and we see robotnik steal it. same as in both SAs.
but in stc, yeah. the master emerald was the green emerald or something like that.
eh? I was referring to the game. the shrine in the hidden palace zoe.

That's why they released SA2 on June 23rd, 2001 -EXACTLY ten years later from it's UK and Japanese release. I think it came out a couple of days earlier in the US, but definately not on te 25th.

How many frames of animation were featured for Sonic in Sonic 1? How many times has Sonic had a "Sega CD" computr game?
