100 was without a doubt the best, it was just so epic, and wrapped up all the stories plus it was like one story for the entire comic. And on top of that it changed the main storyline Robotnik Ruling Mobius, which was a fantastic twist.

Hehe, just wait until you see some of the cliffhangers we have planned in the future! We're gonna be extra evil! ;D
I think my favourite arc was the Metallix Brotherhood, it has a massive 16 parts and was just great fun. Plus, the twist that Sonic created Robotnik was just great!
There's so many to choose from though, I can't call any one story my favourite as they have to go against "Running Wild" and the Chaos arc and "Sonic Terminator" etc...

I thought it was a brilliant touch. I'm looking foward to several part stories with cliffhangers, one of the brilliant parts of stc

I think the good thing about STC online is it does have elements of oldskool stc, but it also treads new ground and has developed its own style a bit; I like the fact that it is a mixture of both, I also love the visual gags that where also present in the days of yore (Super Marxio Sunshine anyone?), I hope this edition of STC really goes far.

Favourite Story arcs? Let me see...
Most of mine come from the early issues, as that was when my interest in Sonic was at it's peak.
A few select favourites would have to be The stories from Issues #8 - #10. Not exactly a single story arc, but the issues set up the 'Ruled by Robotnik' scenario that would continue for the next five years.
Other than that, I've always loved the Sonic CD interpretation 'The Sonic Terminator', 'Badnik's Bridge' and the long build up to #100.
Of course, i've always been very fond of the Streets of Rage stories as well as Captain Plunder. Both Tails 'Zonerunner' stories have to have a mention too. ;D

Yeah, Streets of Rage really grew on me. I also liked Marko's Magic Football (REAL oldschool! ) and Eternal Champions...though I think the latter was as much due to Jetta's and Shadow's costumes as anything else. I seem also to remember liking the Sparkster strip, but I can't for the life of me remember anything more than there may have been two series of it and there was a bit where the villain was possibly marrying the princess. How specific Oh and Shining Force was cool too. Though I would say that.

Ah yes, of course. Both Sparkster and Shining Force were good ones too. The Golden Axe stories had some wonderful artwork, as I recall. As well as the Shinobi series. Time and effort went into those strips and it shows. I think the general quality of the artwork, both in Sonic and non-Sonic stories, helped the comic's lifespan. So many comics produced for a similar age range contain seemingly sloppy or simplistic art, sometimes understandably so. At 11 years old, it was the visual appeal of Golden Axe and Shinobi that kept me reading as opposed to the storylines themselves. Although looking back, they're a thumping good read with some nice characterizations of simple game sprites. -Rich

That Shinobi rocked goes without saying. I especially liked the story they kept punctuating with extracts from Sun Tzu's The Art of War...as a matter of fact I think that story was called "The Art of War"!
