I got Code Geass R2 a few weeks ago, still haven't watched it yet. Figured I'd watch the first series again since it's been so long.

After running out of Nabari episodes (still need to get part 2), I'm (re)starting on FMA: Brotherhood, which I have the full series of. There's so many series here I've lost my place on, I'm gonna pledge never to let it happen again.

Pawn Stars on the history channel.
Its crap but the people running the shop are just so damn entertaining to me.

Sat through all the episodes of the old Ghostbusters cartoon, and I think it's aged better than I thought it would. Obviously the animation doesn't hold up with some very obvious flaws, but for a good chunk of it the stories are still good fun, with some sharp dialogue and great character moments. At least until they changed the voice-actors around; no disrespect to Dave Coulier and Kath Soucie, but their appearance coincided with a noticeable drop in the quality of the stories (plus I just personally preferred Lorenzo Music and Laura Summer in the roles of Peter and Janine). Things went really downhill though when Slimer started playing a larger role, eventually getting top billing.
Still, on balance, I thought the show was still largely as good as I remember it being; definitely in my personal top 10 of nostalgic cartoons.

Expendables 2 I feel all the more manlier having watched this movie. Was it anywhere near as bad as the first one?

It's difficult to be as bad as a good movie

Finished Kamen Rider Agito.
Awful, awful opening run of episodes. Gets steadily better from 20. Starts pumping it up from 30. Last ten eps are bloody amazing, but some things are slightly too rushed.
Also in the end, they create a job where you get to use power armour to fight crime and get a free fry up every day. AKA my dream job.
Now to go back to waiting for the weekend, when I get to watch the Fourze finale. Until then I'll be watching Faiz. I haven't heard good things about it but after the Agito turnaround I'll give anything a shot. It made eating a salad badass!

Two and a bit volumes into FMA:B. It's managed to stay consistently gripping so far. Considering I'm not quite halfway through the total number of episodes it remains for me to be seen how things pan out.

Been watching my new Johnny Bravo DVD. I did order Powerpuff Girls from the same people I got JB from, but they couldn't send me that for some reason. (Yes, I did get a refund.) I'll be re-ordering that at some point.

In the midst of fourth volume of FMA: Brotherhood.
What kind of a stupid name is "Solf", anyway?

Just finished watching Pokémon the Movie White - Victini and Zekrom (I probably wrote part of that wrong) and it's the first one I've seen since The Power of One. I might be remembering wrong after over a decade but the premise seems pretty much identical. I'm imagining the 11 films inbetween follow a pretty similar idea...

I might be remembering wrong after over a decade but the premise seems pretty much identical. I'm imagining the 11 films inbetween follow a pretty similar idea... The Pokémon anime couldn't muster enough original ideas to fill a thimble. Every episode is the same, every movie is the same, every same is the same. I've been watching Panty and Stocking, which is still incredibly fresh two years on, and Squid Girl, which has the most outrageously bad excuses for puns I've ever seen. I understand that the Japanese dub had them, but when sentences are frequently obscured by words being replaced with "squid", it might be time to pack it in because the English language simply cannot accommodate.

There's zombie attacks and a missing girl (who's probably dead) and such!

Looper.
Oh sweet god I love it so much. Planning the Sonic crossovers already. <3
Very neat film, kind of surreal but not quite enough to make your brain hurt. Wonderful twists.

The hero Yoshihiko and the demon's castle. It's a parody of rpgs in general and Dragon Quest in particular.

Powerpuff Girls The Complete Series! It FINALLY came after nearly a month of waiting. And by 'came', I actually mean 'I had to go get it from the Royal Mail depot and pay £13.28 for some stupid reason I can't remember'. Shipping fee or something, I forget what they called it. But whatever, I finally got it! YAY!
