I've just finished watching it. With the exception of three or four pretty good episodes I didn't like it much. I counted like four jump the shark devices (although I'm pretty sure they were there as an in-joke). It was boring and dull compared to other Scrubs season and the whole Elliot/J.D thing is really getting on my nerves. I liked it when they had moved on and gotten over each other, made it seem somehow more realistic. But just like Clark/Lana they bring it back up and it got tedious. However my biggest gripe is the episode after J.D thought he had lost his baby and he was back into his usual self with the exception of him saying a couple of times "my life is crappy." I dunno bout you, but if I thought I had just lost a baby I'd be doing a Dr.Cox and drinking myself to death. There was continuity. Can someone please reassure me and tell me Season 7 is better? It is of course possible I'm the only person who disliked Season 6

1. We have a Scrubs thread. 2. JD and Elliot will get together or I will kill myself.

fair enough, didn't see it on the first page and wasn't trawling through pages to see if there was already a thread. As for J.D and Elliot, I liked how they got over each other. They just bore me now. It's the same old story with them. At least when they have new people like Keith and Kim it refreshes the show a little. That's why Buffy was so successful IMO. Because it didn't have Angel as the one you know she's gonna end up with and you had Spike/Riley there to keep it vibrant.

My knowledge on Buffy is very limited, but as far as I remember, Buffy got what she'd been wanting all along when it ended. Which was to not be a slayer anymore, or something like that. In the circumstances of that show, they didn't need to pair her off with anyone for the happy ending.
To end a show, you need some kind of closure. A conclusion. What has JD wanted all along? Since the first episode? Elliot. And JD must get Elliot or we don't feel satisfied.
