Remember when Gamesmaster was on telly? Wth Dominic Diamond and his constant references to pants (especially in it's twilight years) and Patrick Moore with his creepy monocle. I used to love watching it when it was on Channel 4, DD was a great entertainer, and even though it did go downhill a tad when for one season DD was replaced by the far inferior Dexter Fletcher, it was still a great bit of entertainment. I always wanted one of them golden joysticks! Was way better than Bad Influence, which was about the only gaming alternative at the time.

Yeah I used to watch it, I wasnt to crazy about some of the series but a lot of it was fun. but there was a few moments which were wierd and a bit disturbing.
Bad influence I liked that for what it was, however I remember when they totally messed up the level select cheat for sonic 2 and on the next show had to say it again and dared to say that so many people didnt understand it because we haddnt written it down! I recorded it you twiglets on tape and still didnt get what you had to do! You missed out how to get onto the god dam options screen!
But also does anyone remeber t.i.g.s. (totally interactive game show?) I remember in one episode they gave away a wwf coin op machine worth £3000! (or so they claimed)

Bad Influence kinda reminded me of Rolf's Cartoon Club in a funny sort of way, it was just like a workshop with kids all over the place. Must admit though, I did like the intro to it, was pretty clever.
One thing I do remember vividly about bad influence (apart from Violet Berlin's freaky hair) was an "exclusive preview" they once had of a new beat-em-up which was just a clip of Sonic and Mario having a barney, funny how nothing ever came of it innit!

bad influence though did get one huge exclusive that I never saw anywhere else.
they had this device which you stood in and cameras and sensors were all over looking at you. the game they tested it on was streets of rage and that little teenage black kid was on it and as he was fighting the characters was fighting too.
it was basicly an eye toy for the megadrive but I never got off the ground. which is a shame since I bet if they had an eye toy that worked with todays great games like the motion capture device they had during streets or rage, we'd have a lot more fitter teenagers.
